sounds like similar payout to doing stranger missions, which is mainly what I've been doing lately, without the worry of other players in the lobby. Im getting tired of running all the way to one stranger for it just to glitch and make me watch them talking then act like i didnt start a mission only to have it then say he has nothing for me at this time. Super fun to do them with a 7 man posse though.
Also, I read somewhere that you get extra payout for spending more time in the stranger missions. From the few times I tested it; it seemed to work. Just boring to do 3 minutes of a mission then sit there for 10-12 waiting for the timer to go down. Buuuuuut, I've done the same mission where I knocked it out immediately and get paid .04 or .08 gold and then do it later and wait until the timer is almost out and I make .2 gold. Seems to work, just suuuper boring. If you get close enough to your destination without going in the yellow area you become invulnerable without triggering the end of mission and you can wait the timer out with no fear of other players though.

Kill Them, Each and Every One

More Than One Way To Earn A Buck

Kerosene Tar and Greed

Where Your Morals Lead You

These missions provide you with the most enemies to kill. You can often finish with 15-20 kills + the bonus. If you get 75% headshots you can get 350-400 xp per mission, plus the payout. I believe you get extra xp when you use special ammo so when you get to 31 use express ammo all the time. A headshot kill with express ammo is either 15 or 20 xp if I remember right.

PVP is only better when you consistently end up in the top of the leaderboard. If you suck you end up with 6 kills and 125 xp at the end.

Same with races, but they are much faster. If you place you get good returns. Problem is that they are wayyyyy to random. If you star fast and don't get knocked off the horse, you probably place. If you get behind early, you wont come from behind to win, no matter how well you can ride.

Yea pvp is so inconsistent with me its almost not worth playing. It is just so broken right now between people spawning right next to you, and people being "invisible" when they load in so you can't lock on, but they can lock onto you.

If there is one game mode I am the worst at, it has to be most wanted. For whatever reason, I cannot get any kills worth points. I had a game where I went 12-7 I believe. 28 total points. I think the winner had maybe 3-4 more kills than I did, but had about 150 more points.

Funny enough that is my BEST mode. The key is getting your value up enough to get on people's radar then hunkering down and letting them come to you, moving a little here and there closer to the other big fish on the radar. Make a long circle and try to outflank the big fish while he focuses on the idiots running straight at him. This way you pick off the spawners running to him from the side as you get closer.

I have won a few and usually end up in the top 5 in mast wanted large scale.

Also, use the varmint until they nerf it. It is just better and there's no way to be successful against people using it. I hate it but it has proven results.

Bolt

Varmint

2 semi auto or 1 sawed off 1 semi auto

That's how I roll. I find that shot guns are not needed the vast majority of the time. Better to create space with your opponent than get closer in my experience. Also hip firing semi autos with express ammo will absolutely shred people who are just out of shotgun range and the screen shake it creates on their end makes it unlikely they will be accurate in returning fire.

Schofields with express produces similar result with more damage, less accuracy and less ammo to work with.

Yea I generally run Varmint and either Lancaster or bolt. I do well getting kills. I'm generally up there is number of kills with usually a decent enough k/d. Problem is I can never actually make it over to a high value target. I'll get 2-3 kills of people worth 1-2 points, then while i'm going around the edge, someone spawns basically behind me and pops me with no real way of ever seeing them. Maybe i've just stumbled on the perfect path on most maps to ensure you are in the worst position possible

Also... something I forgot on this point specifically.

When you make a kill, unless there is another target in front.... TURN AROUND. The shitty spawns pretty much ensure that either someone just spawned behind you, or someone heard the ruckus and came over trying to pick off an easy kill. Don't know how many times I have turned and then had to dive because there was a jackleg waiting after I kilt someone.

Didnt want to post in the spoilers thread

Started playing the story recently. When should I spend money on getting new guns? Is it necessary to donate to my camp?

Got the ultimate and have not regretted it at all, so your guarantee is worthless.

if there is a gun you want, go for it. Money becomes pretty easy to come by in the game. Some guns you can find or will unlock in the story missions as well, but no problem buying one if you want it.

Yes, donate to the camp as soon as you can to level it all up. Upgrade Dutch's tent asap, this will give you the ability to eventually unlock the fast travel form your camp.

I liked the extra missions, the early access, the horse that is actually worth a shite instead of having to grind like hell to get one, the upgraded saddle, the faster rank up online. Multiple friends I play with that didn't do it have regretted not getting the ultimate.

So, yea, I do not regret the purchase at all, so again, your guarantee is worthless.

If I shelled out an additional 33-50% of the game’s cost for some tiny missions, a horse, and nigh-worthless knick knacks and weapons, I’d probably try to justify it in my head too. It’s ok

They added anything new yet? Haven’t touched this since logging in after the store update to get the free gold bars.
