More Evidence of SEC ref favoritism

Wish I had a gif of the fumble in the Dolphins/Colts game yesterday.
The TE caught and subsequently fumbled after being hit. VERY similar to the play in our game and I don’t believe the definition of a catch is any different in the NFL.
The only difference was competent NFL refs versus shite-for-brains SEC officiating.

I saw the play you are referring to.
Both groups of officials did what they were paid to do.

David pollack said the same thing

ive been looking for this video since it happened. Nobody talked about it...i wish someone would put it side by side to Devin Whites

Called targeting on the field and was reversed? Very similar to Devin White's hit on fitz.
There was clearly direct head on helmet to helmet contact between Shyheim Carter and Jarret Stidham, their face masks collided. The contact between Devin and Fitzgerald was incidental as the hlmets may have slightly brushed bur the majority of force was to the chest and shoulder.

I know you guys are mad about the Devin White targeting call and you absolutely should be but there's no way you watched the video and honestly think that should be targeting. I watched it in slow-mo 10 times. Shy Carter runs towards the QB with his head up, sticks his forearms out, and pushes him in the chest.
If that's targeting we might as well just cancel football forever.

I think you are missing the point

What is the point? One crew made an absolutely horrific call a few weeks ago that got a ton of publicity. Something similar happened a few weeks later and the refs (or whoever reviews the targeting calls) didn't make the same horrific mistake.
Isn't that what should happen? Looks to me like everyone in here wants the refs to get even on every other team in CFB by calling at least 1 ridiculous targeting penalty against them.

Funny how you can put "Devin White" or "Shy Carter" in that sentence and they're both true statements.

It wasn't targeting. And neither was White's.
Yet one is called the other isn't.
It's OK. It's not your fault. You have been trained.

Fair enough. I can't speak for other LSU fans, but this is all I was looking for. I want other fan bases to acknowledge it was a terrible call - and I don't want to deal with it again.

I don't disagree with you if every situation was determined the way Carter's hit on Stidham was. In your rmultiple slo mos views did you see the two helmets contact or not? If they did, by rule that was targeting. Except when the god damned fricking biased officils conssitently rule one way for fricking Alabama and another way for their opponnets and the rest of the league to affect future games with Alabama.
I am sick of this sanctimonious attitude by you Alabama people. We can show you unmistakable video evidence and photos and you still refuse to concede you get favorable treatment. It does not matter that Carter pput his hand out. Stidham's head jolted back when the helmets collide. Tha tis classic targeting.

over and over we were criticized for being whiny babies while they explained the rule defined what devin white did as tartgeting. this was the same thing. by rule it was targeting.
only it's not if it's alabama doing it.

The SAME DAY as White's hit the SEC reversed a targeting call in the Auburn-Ole Miss game.

Lookat 23:30 of the video and you see the helmets collide and Stidham's head jerks back. There was no more visual evidence needed to uphold the targeting call. NONE.

These "mistakes" you reference always end with the same result. Something that benefits one side.
It's just so random, I swear.

TARGETING needs re-defining.
when the league decided to protect the kicker they built in a "running into" and "roughing"
Targeting need a "no foul" "personal foul" and "targeting" options.
