It is funny since that use to be the expectations, year after year, at a minimum.

Same thing when it comes to the production of the offenses the past 2 seasons.

We are more talented but the gap isn’t huge. It’s a road game & we have some injuries. Which is why we’re under dogs. Wake the frick up

Nope.

2) Has LSU regressed?

Nope. They just play to the level of competition which is what aggravates the majority of the fanbase.

3) Postseason possibilities.

NY6 bowl is just about a lock. I don't see us losing tonight.

4)Jimbo vs. O. Jimbo was a guy that LSU wanted.

Jimbo is overpaid. He's a good coach, but he also won with a heisman caliber QB. Can't blame him for leaving that dumpster fire last year.

5) We are ranked #7, they are ranked #22.

Rankings don't really matter. With that I said, we are clearly the overall better team. A&M isn't near that level yet.

It'll be nice to finish the season off with a win and see where we fall in the bowl game projections.

I’ll take a stab at a couple:
1) Has the LSU offense improved?
As most teams do in the course of the year, but this is still a BAD offense, and has been since the Spring and through scrimmages.

2) Has LSU regressed?
Yes, IMO for a couple of reasons. A). Line play is worse than most thought, and injuries haven’t helped. Pass protection is horrid.
B). Esminger surprised me with his lack of creativity. He’s a minor upgrade to what we saw with Cam. Concepts are simple and we’re not consistently executing.

This game is HUGE for A&M similar to Florida earlier in the year. If we don’t come out swinging haymakers, it’ll be like UGA when they visited us. They’ll be the first to tell you they underestimated how hard we played in that game.

Hell no, in fact it has regressed.

As a whole no. But see above.

I’ve been led to believe that Jimbo Fisher left that program in shambles

No shortage of talent but a shambles nonetheless

I’d enjoy hearing your explanation of this thought process. Many thanks in advance

Jimbo mailed it in his last year there. You can't tell me that his apathy didn't trickle down. Willie Taggart just won 5 games and missed a bowl for the first time in 31 years. Willie is known as a good coach. Are you going to argue that FSU isn't in a shambles.

I can't tell if you agree with the OP or not.

The point of the thread is that we will have answers to a lot of questions in this game.

Saying a NY6 bowl is a lock is a stretch IMO. It will come down to us having to win this game to get into one. Not exactly a lock.

This is a huge game.

This game is HUGE for A&M
aTm fans have already had their expectations met this year actually. It's Jimbo's first year. They've made a bowl, and they're killing it in recruiting.

A LSU win would be a bonus for them. In no way is this a must win like us.

Well just when I thought I’d heard it all.

How many years does Taggart get to reverse the “apathy” Jimbo injected into that program “filled with 4 and 5 star players”, according to you?

If true, then that will show heavily in this game. If they come out playing good, then this will prove to be untrue.

As a whole no.
Again, we will find that out in this game.

I agree with your statements. I just don't think A&M can beat us unless we go out and have 3-4 turnovers.

I've watched them play a few times this year and just don't see it happening.

100% agree with this. A W gets us to 10-2

Well considering FSU maybe had one recruiting class outside the top five in the last five years I'm not sure what you're arguing. In fact, I'm not sure what you're trying to argue at all. Maybe you should slow down on the drinking.
