I think most people probably thought this.

This kind of condescending remark is what gets people called out later down the line.

Hey TigerLunatik, do you remember Ree's bold prediction? Or lack thereof

I said LSU should be held to the same standard as if Les was the coach, so anything less than 10 was disappointing

He never gave one to my knowledge and honestly predictions are kinda silly by the fans. We don't have all if the info, it's fun to give people like Ree the business because of his posting style. It's all fun between a bunch of juvenile guys.

Proof positive that this board knows it’s stuff.

It is the definitive barometer of LSU football.

I've gotten a kick out of a couple of your jousts with him.

I've got a soft spot for the guy. IF you can get him to have a rational conversation, he can be quite interesting to discuss things with.

I didn't make a prediction. I think my wish was for LSU to beat Alabama. I didn't care if LSU lost the remaining 11 games. As far as I was (and still am) concerned, 1-11 with a win over Alabama would be considered a success. 11-1 with a loss to Alabama would be considered a failure.

It has been a nice season. By all measures, exceeded expectations. But lost to Bama for the 8th time in a row.

And there you go.

I don't know about that.

He lacks any original thought that doesn't involve unconditionally shilling for the football program.

If you ever want Ree to leave the thread, just ask him his prediction.

Just because those things didn't happen doesn't mean they weren't more probable beforehand.

Florida in the swamp

I penciled that as a loss from the getgo, only because we played them there the previous season.

It's hard to beat a team on their home field two years in a row. I remember a postgame interview with the legendary Cholly Mac in 1973, after an embarrassing loss at Tulane. He awkwardly tried to excuse the loss, claiming "we've just been playing them on the road too much". This after a narrow escape on the road in 1972 vs the Wave.
