I’m level 76, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this buggy as frick game.
The secret to having fun - don’t do any of the main quests, they all fricking suck. Just run around the map towards locations that look interesting and shoot and loot. If you enjoy the crafting/scrapping grind, this game is enjoyable. If you want Skyrim online with guns, this game will suck.
There’s an endless amount of bugs that are beyond frustrating though. I’ve put up with them and and still enjoyed it. There’s probably 500+ hours of quality gameplay in this game, there is just a never ending amount of shite to do.

I agree. Crafting and exploration are the heart of this game ive found out. I been farming deathclaws in the cranberry bog and only lvl 21. I need to level fast to be able to wear all the shite i have now. The quests ive done really do suck as i said in the first couple posts. They just seem so boring. I cant seem to find the motivation to finish the robot raider shite quests. Done several and it seems never ending

everything being balanced entirely around power armor is a bit lame.
with that being said, I finally found some ghetto raider PA last night and am pretty excited.

If you can’t equip it, scrap it. You’ll find better by the time you get to the required level. Just a waste of space

If you want to level up fast get some Power Armor, a shite load of Rad-X/RadAway and find servers with active nuke zones. Weekends are your best bets and usually Whitespring is the common place they're dropped. Find some high level players to tag along with. Use VATS to get one shot on the bloated glowing ones... You only need to land one shot to get full xp. Stay out of the way, try not to shoot players and enjoy the easy levels.

like for real. I would have zero regrets trashing this game on this forum if I hated it. but I don't. I somehow love it. yes its broken and fricked up. but damn. I just cant quit it.
eta:its just so different and unique yet all so familiar. survival. fallout. questing. grinding. crafting.

the worst one yet. the sheer incompetence from the entire operations team at bethesda softworks is astonishing.

Wow. Now I'm really glad I didn't buy this game.

I guess it’s time for EA to tell Bethesda “hold my beer”.

Good news from yall makes me optimistic lol. Any patch notes or highlights?
Posted on 12/12/18 at 8:59 am to Lucky_Stryke
Highlights
•C.A.M.P. Construction Improvements: Small obstructions will now be automatically removed when you place objects on top of them, allowing you to more easily build when and where you want.
•C.A.M.P. Placement Improvements: You will now be notified when you log into a world and your current C.A.M.P. location is occupied by another player. If you stay in that world, you can place your C.A.M.P. back down for free. If you decide not to place your C.A.M.P. and join a new world where your space is unoccupied, it will be automatically placed in its original spot.
•SPECIAL Re-speccing: Upon reaching level 51, and every level thereafter, you’ll be able to choose whether you want to unlock a new Perk Card or reallocate one SPECIAL point.
•Push-to-Talk: We’ve implemented a push-to-talk hotkey for Voice Chat on PC so that you can decide when to speak up and when to remain silent.
•New PC Settings: We’ve added Field of View and Depth of Field sliders so that you can further customize your view in-game.
•21:9 Resolution Support: On PC, you can catch an even wider view from those gorgeous Appalachian vistas, because Fallout 76 now supports monitors that use 21:9 aspect ratios.
ive started fortifying my camp and its defenses. then I set it up outside of a town im about to raid and kite anything really tough to my turrets. pretty fun.

IGN posted an article stating that a lot of players are blasting this, basically figuring out it's not true 21:9, just a stretched version of 16:9. Says all they did was edit a line of code in the INI file. Screen is stretched, but the UI doesn't adjust, so that looks stretched out as well.
