Why can't we get University Lab kids?

It's on LSU campus for crying out loud!
Are they kids whose parents are from other states? What's going on here?

I hope U High never has another recruitabky athlete. I’m so sick of reading this everyday.
LSU didn’t push for any of the 2019 kids. Only one even had an offer and even that may not have been commutable.
They have a commitment from a 2020 DT who is the best of them all.

Maybe because some kids have been in LSU’s campus for 12 years and want a change of scenery. Now you’re telling me major programs from places like UGA or Clemson or Bama or Texas are calling for me to come and live there for free? Yeah it’s not hard to see how that doesn’t excite some of them

Outside of it being easy access to evaluate them I am willing to bet the fact the school is on campus hurts LSU more than it helps them to actually get them to commit.

I mean brosette and Brumsfield are U High kids.
I just Don’t think the coaches are into the batch. None of them play a position that we don’t have a recruit hire ranked already committed.
If they had a bunch of high ranked DTs leaving I’d be more concerned.

Read the new NCAA regs dude. Get with the program man, "No student of a highschool located within 1 mile of a Div 1 university is permitted a scholarship, walk on status, or eligible to play for a min of 3 calendar years after graduating from said University." It's plane as day and written in black and white man.

this topic has been discussed many times...but the only current senior that had an offer was Harris and it was not at the LB position(where he wants/expects to play) and LSU did not push for his commitment. He also seemed like a kid that wanted to leave the state, it may have been a mutual thing w/ the kid. the staff preferred the kid from Bama over Harris at MLB.
Roy is committed for next year and he's a potential stud.
