WOW. First time I've seen his highlights and I'm blown away. Have any of you guys seen any better from a running back?

Kid is a stud
His cuts and burst through the holes is special. With solid blocking he will definitely help out our run game a lot next year. He's very lean but he's a tough one to bring down as well.
Welcome abord Emery

That was also the first time I've watched some of his film. He is patient to the hole, reads his blocks as well as anyone I've seen at the HS level, is very decisive, hits second gear in an instant and has absolutely phenomenal balance.
This kid is a freak, and he's going to do good things for LSU.

quote:The short answer? Fairly recently? Yes. LF7 and Guice both had better film, and what I saw of Cam Akers' film was otherworldly. But that's two backs that became Heisman finalists and another that is stuck at a crappy FSU because he wanted to play for Jimbo (woops!). And that's not detracting any from Emery because his film is superb.

It looks like he has more size than Guice did in HS. he reminds me more of Jeremy Hill from that clip

Emery has that extra gear when he needs it, not knocking but Nick & Clyde do not. Don't sleep on Davis as he's also a beast.

Kid has elite level speed and balance. He’s going to do big things at LSU.

His HS team executed a screen pass.
Do not want.
Do not want.

His running kind of reminds me of Kamara....
Doesnt appear to have breakaway speed, but great shiftiness, vision, and literally seems to play with covered in grease (Very slippery)
He just knows how to manipulate the defenders and get north and south

Reminds me of a faster Stevan Ridley

It's funny how many people didn't want him when he was committed to UGA. Now the dudes a helluva back and doing great things for LSU

I think that was more of a “frick him if he doesn’t want to be with us”
Posted on 11/14/18 at 8:16 am to LSUTigerFan1996
and he will only get bigger and more athletic in college. That's exciting.

Runs a 4.4 laser 40 and verticals 40 inches at 210 lbs. That is Saquan Barkley type numbers.

Kerryon Johnson 2.0

The difference in the offense will be night and day. I can't wait for next season.

WUT?
His burst to top end speed is the thing that jumps out on film.
The guy literally picks the hole between the tackles and then burst away from the crowd.
He won’t be able to do that in the SEC but he certainly is a “one touch” player being that he can change the course of the game with one simple touch of the football. He has the speed and vision to strike from anywhere in the field.

Not his fault!
Fans have no allegiance. Like grass in the wind. They change directions depending on the flow.
