Are you sure your trailer can accommodate that many people?

I also said no blasting rap music.

Can't say this has ever been a concern at any Crickets' family holiday function.

Hope you get well soon, ginger.

That's my big party of the year and usually have between 20-25 folks over for the meal of fried turkey (3), baked mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, gumbo w/rice, green bean casserole, mirliton casserole, sweet potato casserole, giblet gravy, homemade bread, pies, beer, wine and liquor.

Nobody leaves hungry and some don't leave completely sober.

Just tell them your health has to come first and if they can’t grasp that they can kindly frick off

We own a house. There is lots of room. Kitchen and media room can accommodate about 2 dozen,

My camper is my private domain. I don't want anyone in it.

We skip thanksgiving every year. We’re too far from home to justify flying home for both thanksgiving and Christmas, and the whole “Friendsgiving” thing sounds terrible.

So we cook at home, have good wine and bourbon, and watch football instead. It’s my favorite holiday hands down.

ETA: just read the full OP. Tell them to frick off. That’s absurd.

Usually have all the kids and grandkids over, about 18 in total. Cook a big meal, yadda yadda. This year the wife and I are going to NOLA for the Saints game. The kids aren't pleased

My wife's bday is that week and she is off work so we always go on a little trip and skip the family thanksgiving.

Late lunch reservations at Superior Seafood, then watch the Saints beat up the dirty birds from some suite seats while sipping on a Tito’s and water.

Sorry to hear about your health issues, kittie...sounds like your family is just trying not to leave you out. FWIW, sounds like the whole shite has got you kind of depressed.

If you've made it clear you're not up to having people over for T-Day, then it is pretty inconsiderate of those that are not honoring your wishes.

I can't imagine anyone in my family or circle of friends that would do that to me. Maybe it's because they all know I'd run the hell out of them, but that's just me and how I am.

I only celebrate holidays if I can go crash at a friend’s house. I live far from family, which is awesome. Some holiday’s are just me and the SO cooking and drinking, alone.

I will stay in bed and sleep most of the day.

GK, call them back and tell them NO. Then, if they show up anyway, don't open the door. That is ridiculous.

Hope you get some quality recovery time.
