Ted may accept this job, but I think he likes being insulated from Trump for his job security. SCOTUS was always too low-profile for him.

Nay. He just got re-elected for another 6 years in an election that was a lot closer than anybody expected. You wanna give Beto a 2nd chance to run against a non-incumbent in a special election?

I guess it could work. Abbott would nominate his replacement in the senate.

frick no. Supreme Court.

If Trump makes Cruz AG now Abbott would appoint someone and then probably call a special election since we have 6 years left for that seat. Beto runs again against some Republican nobody and smokes him.

I was thinking Cruz since before Sessions was nominated. AG would be right in Cruz's wheelhouse.

He was an excellent AG for Texas.

Neaux. I get Bongino's reasoning. Beto would go for round 2, and I doubt the R candidate beats Beto this time. Libs would pour another $70 mil into the race. No way an unknown can come close to raising enough money to have a chance.

Need to get DiGenova for AG. Don't want Christie. Cruz and Lindsey need to stay where they are. Mark Levin and Pam Bondi would work.

I think I should be AG. Although I don't actually have a law degree, I guarantee I would be a more effective AG than Jeff Sessions and a better one than Eric Holder.

Its time for a common sense AG like me.

I'd have Pam Bondi on the short list for deputy. Levin wouldn't be anywhere near that list. Cruz is too good a constitutional mind to waste in the AG slot. He needs to go to the Supreme Court.

And I'd have Rosenstein's head on a pike within 24 hours. Mueller could spend his Friday evenings explaining his week's work to me, and I'd happily join Donald Trump for a round of golf Saturday.
