How much time do NFL players spend practicing their touchdown routines?

For everyone? You seem to be saying that.

How much time is wasted in Football games when guys go down to just sit out one play and then come back in. Of course during this time there will have to be a commercial.

You know why CBS never televises soccer? Because the play never stops, thus they can't figure out a way to stretch a 60 minute match into 4 1/2 hours.

90 minute match, plus time added on for stoppages of play.

But you are spot on, excellent point.
They would ignore the guy with the red hat, and possibly slide tackle him breaking both his tibia and fibula.

All you need is a ball. Any shithole country can come up with one. Basketball, football, cricket.... they all require additional equipment of some kind

This is the most retarted statement you made all thread (and that’s saying a lot). In those shithole countries you’re talking abou, the entry barrier for the sports you named are comparable to soccer. In basketball, all you need is a ball. You can make a “basket” out of anything. In football, all you need is a ball and can make an end zone out of anything. Cricket, I don’t even know what the frick that sport is.

Have you seen any of the soccer players wives? They are 100x hotter than Paulina Gretzky or any whore the NFL brings around.

Soccer is very gay. But if my son wants to play it, I'm not going to stand in his way. I think of it as a gateway to other sports.

Now with that said, soccer makes a good ad campaign with Sunny d, mini vans, orange slices, and Shout stain remover for soccer moms.

I've seen that in person twice during a soccer match.

Not pretty.

outside of the US, especially in SA, soccer is more like a religious cult, you see it being played in the street 24/7, when there's a huge match entire cities with millions of people like Rio and Sao Paolo will shut down during the middle of a business day to watch, and if their team loses it's like the Pope died for the rest of the night

Ocean Springs Greyhounds say hello.

Great sport, a blast to watch, especially in person.

I have not seen that in person, but have on TV. Roy Keane's hard tackle a number of years ago still makes my blood run cold.

These opinions always assume that the excitement level for a goal is the same for a made shot in basketball. The entire soccer game operates with the tension of the final minutes of a basketball game because one play can change the game.

For youth sports it is the greatest. Games fly by and your kid is always doing something. Mine usually doing something wrong but goddamn he goes at it like a crazy person.

In his mind he must just say f you when the coach is hollering at him to stay back

He is a really good baseball player. That is still his favorite. But oh my goodness that is s tough sport to spectate.

so, like losing to Alabama.

Do soccer fans want the coach fired every other week?

None of what you suggested can replicate the associated sport like nothing but a ball and some land can with soccer. Nothing. How are you going to ensure that these baskets are similar height? Have the same diameter of opening? And football? Yeah we all played tackle no pads football as kids, but it wasn’t even close to high school ball.

I do not agree with your point. Yes you can replicate to a degree but it’s eaiest to replicate soccer the best which is why most countries can and do play this sport

Depends upon the club and the supporters. When clubs are on a horrid run, like the club I follow is now, yes. The calls for "___________ OUT " are deafening on social media and at the ground on match day.

They make those huge banners, that cover an entire section of the stadium, they fly planes, all the stuff we have seen here in the past couple weeks.

The club I follow once had a manager, 1990-1991 named Alan Dicks. He was not very good, and the campaign against him, well, you get it.

Baseball

I’m very on the fence about which of the two, soccer or baseball, sucks more to watch.

College baseball, especially the Ags, are a blast to watch. Professional baseball, not nearly as much but still not as bad as soccer.

I’m the furthest thing from a baseball fan, but I can appreciate the sport. As someone who lives in an area where soccer reigns supreme, I can’t say the same.
