Nope LSU will struggle big time in this game.
Let’s all remember this posters definitive call on the Arkansas game. Sounds like an expert!!!

Let me explain it to all of you that seem to be having so much trouble understanding this concept.
Louisiana, for generations now, has had one of if not the highest NFL player per capita rate in the entire country. LSU puts more players in the NFL than any other University. Yes, more than the Gumps. Yet, somehow, someway, LSU falls short of its goals every year because they absolutely refuse to adopt a modern offense.
LSU will always be a 2-4 loss team until that changes. Alabamas not the problem. If it were only Alabama then LSU should have 1 loss every year, right? Whens the last time that happened?
If you want a perennial 2-4 loss team with an occasional NY6 bowl and a once every 10 year SEC Championship game appearance then Im sure youre pretty happy right now. Some of us have the reasonable expectation that NFLSU could and should be competing for National Championships every year. For us, all we see are wasted opportunities and talent.
What could have been.

The NeverOs are a pathetic bunch, but I believe this team and program are moving in the right direction. The relentless negative posting will only hurt progress in a very important aspect...recruiting!
I think not competing against bama hurts more than posting on an anonymous message board. Surtain comes to mind.

bullshite.
Youre just a hypocrite. Had this been the last regime and had this type of offensive production, youd be all over this board calling the staff retards.
I know this because it literally happened in 2015.

If they don't, remember UF and Bama (and every other game where Burrow threw for 48% and we went into huge offensive droughts... i.e. almost every game but OM).
And if we don't try, if we see the inevitable "it's Arkansas, there's no reason not be conservative" then we also know where else to point the finger.

Can we stop perpetuating this myth?
I’m known as an O hater, and I had us losing 4.

remember probably the best LSU team of all time?? 8+ qtrs vs bama and 9 pts

Aw, poor you! LSU could finish 10-2 but they lost to Bama. Boo fricking hoo! Kill yourself.
Posted on 11/7/18 at 7:45 am to GeauxTigerNation
You are correct . The team will be pissed from last week and come out swinging on offense.

You know we haven't hit double digit wins since 2013?
I also Know we went 9-3 in 2015 because we cancelled McNeese
So I’m not gonna pretend a cancelled cupcake game is the reason a season was magically better.
Arkansas is terrible on offense and defense.
Yeah I think Well look a lot better.

Our qb will still be crappy like he’s been all season.
Etling was a better qb.

They can't defend the run
This has been the key to O's success.
All of the talk about well at least we don't tank after Bama anymore is smoke and mirrors built on timing, and O is Johnny on the spot as always.
The back to back losses to Arkansas in 14 and 15 gave Alleva the excuse he needed to fire the guy he hated personally.
But those two Arkansas teams ranked in the top 15 in run defense in the country.
O, however, faced Arkansas teams in 16 and 17 that ranked in the 100s in run defense, and will again this year.
There is no question that Miles would have had the same success post Bama that O has, due to the level of competition drastically falling off.
It isn't because O is some great motivator rallying the team and keeping them focused.
It's because Arkansas has been a fricking trash heap the past two years.

Thank for proving my point.
You constantly shite on our only undefeated sec season in half a century yet you're somehow fine with this team.
Youre fine with having 6 passing tds all year now that O is the coach. Youre somehow fine with us not only being a bad passing team but also being a bad rushing team as well.

Exactly.
If you couldnt stop the run, you werent beating a miles coached team.

I think we'll suffer a huge emotional hangover on the road at Arky. We should win, but it will be sloppy and ugly.

We cover easily. They can't defend the run. They can't defend the pass. Close win upsets happen all the time , and sometimes the better team loses. They got blown apart by North Texas. I'm telling you all, this is the easiest money you will make all year.
LSU can’t block
Can’t pass with consistency
Can’t make in-game adjustments
Lacks confidence
Will play flat and unmotivated
