We should win easily, but I'm inclined to agree with you. Not so long ago, Arky was winless in conference until Les Miles and LSU rolled into town. I believe the final score was 17-0 Arkansas. I think we will win, but it's gonna be ugly. The nasty weather conditions alone will ensure that.

That Arkansas team won eight games, had a top 15 run defense in the ciuntry, played every SEC team within one score including a three point loss to Bama, and smoked top 10 Old Miss 30-0 the next week.



Yes we were caught deflated after another overtime heartbreaker to Alabama and took them lightly based on their record.

But that was not a bad Arkansas team. This one is. Very bad.

Its is a possessive pronoun which means that something belongs to or is associated with something. LSU at its best.

so true and so weird at the same time. I just don't get these people. Lot of them are obviously trolls but a lot of them have been around a long time. Some of them loved Miles (as I did and many LSU fans who still thought it was probably time to move on) so much they are still butt hurt over his firing. Others just have always been extremely negative on anything LSU. We still have a chance to end this season 10-2 and go to a good bowl game, win that and we end the season 11-2. It is still possible to do. Been a long time since that has happened. Last time we did that well was in 2011. Plus back to back 6-2 in the SEC. Other than last year (Orgerons first year) we haven't been 6-2 in the SEC since 2012. So still a lot to play for.


I know they don't want to hear this. They want to dwell on whatever negative they can come up with and paint a doom and gloom picture to try to negatively impact recruiting and the future success of Orgeron. It is just that important to them to undermine anything good at LSU.

Doesn’t change the fact that they played everyone close, including Bama, and shutout top 10 OM 30-0 the next week.

Bert had that team on the cusp on being a pretty good team and it was clear all season. They were very physical and one of the best run defenses in the country, had a good QB in Allen and an outstanding running game as well, a perfect combination for them after we just lost an overtime slugfest to Bama.


We still came out flat and unfocused, and that’s on Miles for sure.

But that was not some awful team we lost to that freezing cold fricking night.

LF was banged up in the Bama game, didn’t practice all week, and was questionable to play at all.

Magee and DW were always going to get most of the work there.

Would be awesome.

Doesn’t change the fact that after 2.5 years in charge our lines still have major issues, we still haven’t seen improvement in our offensive production, and now we can’t even run the ball.

We have relied on Urban Meyer’s QB to do as well as we have on offense, which is statistically worse than before, and there is no indication this staff will have a successor prepared for when he leaves.

We have won game on the strength of our defense, as always, and when Miles’ DC leaves the future will depend on the next DC hire, something O has failed to find on offense twice in two years now.



One can enjoy the fact that we may make our first NY6 Bowl and still be very concerned about the future without being a troll or butt hurt as you claim.


Do you deny that for years critics claimed LSU was winning in spite of Miles?

How is it any different to have people feel the same about the coach now?
