I thought the pools closed at 7:00? No way the panhandle is in if that is the case. Also, we have mega polls set up here where the hurricane hit.

I wonder if that hurricane hitting the panhandle will affect voter turnout
Posted on 11/6/18 at 6:48 pm to SirWinston

Posted on 11/6/18 at 6:49 pm to SirWinston

I would say yes. We have tons of people that are not even living here at the moment because their house is gone. There are still almost 2000 people living in our local high school gymnasium in Panama City. Thousands of people are homeless. They probably did;t even have a way to get to the polls.
It is a tragedy down here.

Damn. Hope that doesn’t have an effect on the panhandle votes
Posted on 11/6/18 at 6:56 pm to BamaScoop
I would gave thought Gov Scott would have figured that out and tried to make accommodations.

Non election related
I was in Panama City for 17 days helping with power restoration and the place was decimated. Voter trun out will absolutely be lower there
