Ratty I know you didn't mean anything by this, but OF COURSE it's going to have an effect. I've read a half dozen "wonder if the hurricane is going to have an effect" posts today...dammit, the area is destroyed. People living in tents a month after the storm destroyed. There are only 3 polling locations open in my county (Jackson). We're an inland county and are managing a 56% turnout but the more coastal counties are going to be less.

Sorry, this is a sore subject...you'd think people on a LA based board would understand the impact the worst storm in recorded history has on an area...
