But with human intelligence they would have little mosquito doctors/medicine that could increase their life expectancy.
They’d die in their first year of medical school.

There’s a theory out there, I forget the name, but it says that we are living in a computer simulation (like the matrix) and our bodies are being kept alive on life support by mosquitoes as a way for them to ensure a steady food supply.

Short of surrounding yourself in perpetual fire, theres no way you're stopping an army of 1 million+ ants headed your way.

Because we actively try to wipe them out.
They'd learn to avoid all other mammals as to allow overpopulation.
Without humans, think of the amount of land mammals there'd be.
Yeah, but land mammals are covered in big heavy pelted hair and skin, and smell like shite. Us humans have that nice, smooth, soft skin with that sweet blood. Why wipe that out?

Direct competitor for land and resources now armed with using and creating tools?

doesn't seem like enough time to pull this off.
If we get to keep our intelligence and hands (with thumbs) we can make up a big pot of DDT. Then we could spray it everywhere. If any liberals freak out about it we force feed them a gallon.

I say ape because even if ants had our intelligence, they couldn’t make metal, or long distance communication, or really any of our cool shite
Side note: Do you think all the workers ants would stop being so subordinate and be like “frick that, I’ve got 10 days to live I’m gonna eat as much human food as possible and queen fatass can fend for herself”

was leaning ants, but mosquitoes would be really bad too.
Thing about mosquitoes, nicotine is not their friend. Humans would just start wearing nicotine patches and chewing nicotine gum. People with type O may still have problems, but the other blood types would be good.
