Shoulda just kept the BCS and took the top 4 teams.

Perhaps so. I just think the committee should either be held accountable for what they say, or not say anything at all

I was pretty sure OSU was getting in last year when all those things fell their way last year.

The worst case for the Big 12 is having WVU and OU split the last week of the season and the Big 12 Championship

The worst case is Iowa State beats OU in the CG. I believe the Clones control their destiny at the moment with the H2H win over the 'Eers.

Only WVU (5-1) and OU (5-1) control their own destiny. ISU (4-2) (and UT (4-2), for that matter) needs OU to beat WVU in the regular season finale.

No way Michigan should rank ahead of Notre Dame if they both have 1 loss.

Anyone who has ever played sports knows that head to head is and should be the first tiebreaker.

Sure, but when one team has a better record and tougher schedule, that isn’t a tie.

There is 0 reason for Notre Dame to join a conference, especially if we go 11-1 and make the playoffs.

Because 11-1 is going to get you on the outside looking in

That is clearly why I said "IF" 11-1 gets us into the playoffs. If it doesn't then maybe it might weigh more in favor of joining a conference, but if the CFP puts Notre Dame in at 11-1 there is no reason to join a conference.

That's not true. Iowa State also controls its own destiny. They win out, they're in. And the only challenge they have left is Texas.

If ISU and WVU win out and OU loses only to WVU, WVU plays OU in the B12CG.
