Les Miles always gave LSU a chance to beat Saban, next two years are going to really suck

LSU has "no chance" under Orgeron to beat Alabama over the next two years or more. Don't know how LSU fans will deal with that reality, it seems like an eternity. Going to have to take up fishing, at least the fish will never embarrass us. Geaux Fish!

Oh you're so right. I guess we should just quit now.

We'd score as many points as we did in the last two home games against Bama if we didn't play.
ETA: But yea this thread is silly.

All I want is a viable modern passing attack. That's all.
I'm not asking for the 2002 Miami Hurricanes or the 2018 Alabama Crimson Tide.
Just give me Iowa's offense: 65th in the country at ~235 yards a game. That's all I'm asking for.
Seriously. That's all.

LSU had a chance in 2012, and 2014.
Les took away that chance in 2012 as much he possible could, and that set the tone for the goatfrick we're in now with this series.

Still waiting on those drops stats.

Miles was a better coach than O, he just wouldn't change offensive philosophy.
The wins suffered because of it

Are you confusing Les with Chavis?

There was never a time under Miles where I thought LSU had a zero chance of beating Alabama. I know that with certainty under Orgeron.

This Alabama team is a completely different animal than the teams LSU played when Miles was coach. Les also didn't really give LSU much of a chance in the BCS title game or in 2013 or 2015. Orgeron gave LSU a chance in 2016 and last year every bit as much as Miles during this losing streak. Alabama is just flat out a lot better than us and everyone else this year. The only team that has a remote chance of giving them a game this year is Clemson.

Yep, the next 10 years under Orgeron have automatic "L"'s v. Bama.

Oh you're so right. I guess we should just quit now.
So that leaves our chances to being able to out recruit Alabama. Good luck...

One more first down, and the game's over. Let's just run up the middle.

Because if LSU still hasn't scored a point against Ala during three years with Orgeron at the helm, he's gone!

Chavis held Bama to 21 while his D stayed on the field 80% of the time

Miles was 3-2 against Saban in his first five matchups. That's ancient history.
He was 0-5 on his most recent five matchups.
In those last 5 games, Miles lost by an average of 12.6 points. An average of 2 possessions.
Les Miles was not performing to the Bama standard. Neither is Orgeron.
