My wife is insisting that Joe Burrow was intimidated and that it rubbed off on the rest of the team. I told her that being behind center for the Tigers last night was like watching a jail break coming at you. No QB would have had success. What sayeth the ranter Nation?

Plenty of QBs have had success against Bama. And yes, Brees would have success against Bama, you're kidding no one with that.

It’s not just Bama. We can’t even beat Notre Dame constantly

Brees would have completely ignored all those dumbass play action calls and drawn new plays in the dirt.

Even if Tua was our QB we would have lost. The O line was just not there last night.

I don't buy into this. A QB and a scheme that makes a defense be honest on the pass could have changed the entire dynamic of the game.

Passing game needs all of these to be consistently successful:

Playcalling
Pass protection
QB decision making
QB accuracy
WR separation
WR catching

LSU rarely puts all of these together consistently for an entire possession. That is why they have trouble sustaining drives.

Brees would likely draw up plays in the huddle and be successful.

This thread is as ridiculous as it is timely as I just switched over from the Rams/Saints where Brees has been completing passes into windows the size of a smartphone screen all drive long.

My wife knows too much nowadays to shut her up. It scares me sometimes how she connects the dots. I still don't think Brees could help us if he's lying on his back.
