Montana Senate race now officially going to Rosendale as Crow Tribe endorses him

Tester just lost the Native American vote to Rosendale
MISSOULA, Mont. — On Tuesday afternoon U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale received the endorsement of Crow Tribe chairman A.J. Not Afraid.
He says Rosendale and the White House fit with the needs of the Crow Tribe.
“That agenda fits the Crow today, to side with the administration and Matt Rosendale,” Not Afraid said in a statement.
But at a rally on Wednesday Sen. Jon Tester, who is on the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, said he thought he was endorsed by the tribe.
“I’m not sure about that. Last I heard the Crow Tribe endorsed me. Their chairman may have done something different,” said Tester.
It appears an endorsement from the chairman represents the entire tribe. A Crow Tribe spokesperson told NBC Montana “As the Chairman, his endorsement is representative of the Crow Tribe. So, yes, the Crow Tribe and/or the Chairman has endorsed Matt Rosendale.”
We've reached out to Tester's campaign for comment, we'll update you when we hear back.

The Dems are going to be so damned out of their minds come about 11 p.m. Tues. night that it will be entertainment worth watching. I'm probably going to pull me an all-nighter like I did the night Trump won.

Not usually. The one thing that unifies Native Americans in voting for candidates is related to tribal recognition. The Lumbees in NC, whether liberal or conservative, will support any NC politician who supports their recognition as a tribe, regardless of political affiliation.

I have conducted business with these folks, what they say and what they do are often different. We'll see how it goes.

Between this and the Libertarian endorsing Rosendale, Tester is officially fricked
