I mean Nelson is the alternative...so there’s that.

Another reason why I loathe these "escapee migrations" caused by hurricanes.
TX still dealing with Katrina's.

The same guy who trampled the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens in Florida in response to a lone, crazed gunman?
That guy?

...and you think Gillum will be better? He sides with the liberals that want to take your guns away. Make him gov and he'll find a way to take away your guns and many more of your constitutional rights.
He will bankrupt FL.

That’s actually not an alternative. Neither one has any respect for the Constitution.

Scott’s not running against Gillum, Sparky.

Crazy, on my ballot he was!
Listen I know some on here like to trumpet their ideals on here but some of us have to live in the real world.
It was Nelson vs Scott on the ballot. I’d like to not have Nelson as a senator again as he does all of jack and shite for us.

Calm down, guy. You don’t have to be pissy. I didn’t criticize you for voting for a fraud.
Good for you if you voted for him. I wasn’t talking about you.
I just speculated about how actual, legitimate conservatives in Florida would vote- ones that can define and spell, “conservatism,” and don’t think a person is conservative or holds conservative political ideals merely because he has an “R” behind his name on an election ballot.

Polling also hasn’t been including many panhandle counties due to the hurricane.
All are deep red

It just doesn’t make sense. I thought Scott was a popular governor. And obviously DeSantis is a fricking nut job.
This is the first election in U.S. history where both choices are pieces of shite.
It was bound to happen sooner or later.

Scott only won last time because he put $75 million of his own money into the campaign.
He's the ex-CEO of a health care company that was fined big time for Medicare fraud. Then he became a venture capitalist.
Real (un)likable guy.

Hurricane Irma +100k D
Hurricane Michael -50K R
Gollum is the smooth-talking hip NEO-Obama. Desantis looked constipated in the debates.
There are too many metastases from the northeast for the republicans to win.

All publicized polls and predictions are propaganda.

Republicans have almost as many early votes as democrats and non party affiliation voters combined right now . If the panhandle gets their votes in then we should be good to go red .
There is a reason Gillum is backing off some of his socialist ideas . In the democrat primary it was a race to the left but now he is backing away from Those ideas . Gillum had almost half as many votes in the primary as DeSantis. The 2 candidates that finished 2nd and 3rd in the democrat primary were more moderate out of the group. I am more worried about Scott losing to Nelson then DeSantis losing to Gillum .
