What’s going on in Florida?

Common sense tells me Florida supports Trump and should be electing Scott to Senate and replacing him at Governor with DeSantis, but as I continue to check on Nate Pewter and 538, they seem to think gov is a toss up and that Nelson is going to win the race for Senate.
What gives?
What gives?

Toss up? 538 says Gov is going blue. Then again, they also said Hillary would win.

Yep, the Florida and Georgia Gov. race is a head scratcher

It just doesn’t make sense. I thought Scott was a popular governor. And obviously DeSantis is a fricking nut job.

If FL elects a Dem governor, they deserve to become the next Puerto Detroit.
Idiots.
Idiots.

New impropriety surfaces on the Dem daily. The Dem runs on a platform of Many New Taxes. I don't get it.

FL ain't right. Something in the water.

Scott only truly popular down here when there’s a storm. The snowbirds hate him for the most part. Those assfricks vote in many elections down here since they claim residency due to “tax purposes.”

Um, do you recall the two Obama elections down here? Similar circumstances going on.

The vast majority of actual Floridians and people who moved over here like me to live and work hate Gillum. Unfortunately there is a massive amount of land here and a lot of people from the northeast that live for 6 months and a day.

The same guy who trampled the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens in Florida in response to a lone, crazed gunman?
That guy?
I don’t know about all of Florida, but I can’t imagine a circumstance where an actual conservative would vote for that fraud.

I think we get perform better in the midterms than what most people suspect overall, but I think Florida falls, unfortunately.

1 - After the hurricane in Puerto Rico, tens of thousands of PR folks moved to FL and they are 90+% dem voters.
2 - Hurricane Michael hit the panhandle, the most conservative area in FL - tens of thousands of those folks may not vote due to still being out of state.
Those two hurricanes may determine the balance of power in FL.

Do yourself a favor and don’t listen to the polls. Follow Larry Schweitkart on Twitter. He uses early voting and absentee voting for factual data. Republicans are voting at an incredible rate compared to previous years and thinks Republicans hold the state.
