Here's a list of the 14 devices that have been found so far and who they were addressed to:
George Soros
The first device was discovered in Soros' mailbox Monday at his suburban home outside New York City. Officials say it was likely delivered by hand rather than mail, allowing it to reach its destination undetected.
The Clintons
A Secret Service agent screening Bill and Hillary Clinton's mail found the device that was address to their home in Chappaqua, New York. Like several others, the package's return address listed Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), whose name was misspelled.
The Obamas
A package almost identical to the one found at the Clintons' home was sent to Barack and Michelle Obama's house in the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington. It was also intercepted by Secret Service before making it to the Obamas.
CNN and John Brennan
CNN's New York Studio in the Time Warner Building was evacuated in the middle of Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto's live coverage of the devices sent to the Clintons and the Obamas. The package delivered to the Time Warner Building was addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan, who has appeared on CNN criticizing Trump.
Eric Holder and Debbie Wasserman Schultz
The packages listed Wasserman Schultz in the return address, and one made it back to her Florida office. The package was incorrectly addressed to former Attorney General Eric Holder and was redirected to Schultz.
Rep. Maxine Waters
Two devices were addressed to Waters (D-Calif.), who has been a staple in Trump's attacks on Democrats during his rallies. One device was addressed to Waters' office in Washington, and the other to California, but both were stopped in screening facilities far from her offices.
Robert De Niro
A device addressed to De Niro's Manhattan production offices was found by his office's security personnel, police reported Thursday morning. Though not an elected official, the film star has openly criticized Trump in the past.
Joe Biden
Authorities are investigating two packages sent to the former vice president that were intercepted at Delaware mail facilities, one in New Castle and one in Wilmington.
Cory Booker
A suspicious package bound for Democratic Sen. Cory Booker's Camden, N.J., office was discovered in Florida on Friday morning.
James Clapper
Another package was discovered in New York City on Friday bound for the former director of National Intelligence. Clapper has been one of the most outspoken critics of the Trump administration.
Kamala Harris
A postal employee in a Sacramento, California, mail facility noticed a package addressed to Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) similar to those containing explosives and flagged it for FBI inspection, Harris' office said.
Tom Steyer
Another billionaire Democratic philanthropist, Tom Steyer, was targeted by a suspicious package that was caught in Burlingame, California. Steyer has spent millions advocating for Trump's impeachment.

Then he's the worst bomb maker in the history of humanity.
Even your resident Muzzie goat fricker can get one to explode once in a while.

What was the triggering mechanism on these things?

Is it still "Winning" if none of the bombs went off?
"We have the best bomb makers folks"

Yes they are.
However, you can be convicted of armed robbery, if the people you are robbing are convinced you are armed.
So technically, Director Wray is correct - these are not hoax devices. Even though they had zero chance of detonating.

So.....they ALL malfunctioned? They were all real bombs that didn't work?
I'm NOT saying that it's any better to send fake bombs or real bombs through the mail, but if they were the former, then they are hoaxes, by definition.

This is why the FBI has destroyed all of the devices instead of taking them back to Virginia. There is no proof otherwise now!

If the guy tried to make them actual bombs, then no people, it isnt a hoax in any colloquial way.
Yall know this. Stop embarrassing yourselves

If they weren't bombs then they weren't bombs. What effort or intent there was doesnt magically turn something into a bomb.

A hoax is a falsehood deliberately fabricated to masquerade as the truth.
Stop with this foolishness people. It is making the right look stupid as hell to people in the middle. This is a random nutjob that is an idiot that likely tried to make bombs but doesnt know his arse from a hole in the ground

quote:That is probably the case. My guess is he got directions off the internet to try to build bombs and had no idea what he was doing. Most likely too dumb to make them actual bombs.

What part makes you think he tried to make them actual bombs? Trying to make them look like actual bombs =/= trying to make actual bombs.

But I would say most people without an agenda would say this dumb nutjob thought he was making a working bomb
I have no clue why the right is offended by that, and I have no clue why the left feels so great about it
Both sides are handling this like jackasses

I am no bomb maker but you would think someone looking to do that would test them out in a field or something to make sure they work.
It sounds like this dude just bought some shite that looked "bomby" and glued it together thinking it would magically go boom when it reached its final destination.

If his intention was for them to blow up and he just made terrible bombs, that's one thing.
If they were never intended to be functional, that's a hoax.
