Is that even possible in Tiger Stadium.

I don't think it is.

Ben Hill Griffon #6 or so with 115.

When Delpit intercepts Tua for a pick six to win the game with 0:15 left on the clock that record will be broken.

It’s only 3.6 higher than our highest. And that was before the South upper was built, which enclosed the noise even more. We can do it next weekend.

It’s possible but it would probably take a coordinated effort to get that high.

It’s possible if all of the old farts in the gold seats do something other than sitting in silence listening to the game with their earbuds.

Water bottle with pennies is good, but this may be better

LSU is gonna be winnin 23-20 with 5 min left and Bama is gonna drive into field goal range and Kelvin Jospeh is gonna jump an out route. As he gets to the 10 yard line there will be another earthquake.

You put a semi-roof on Tiger Stadium like Washington has to trap sound, and I guarantee you there would be some MF developing hearing loss on the field.

it is possible especially if they regularly post the decibel reading on the screens after a big play - and a graphic - let's get louder!

Yea, so usually with sound measurement, a 6 dB difference is twice as loud. 3.6 dB difference isn't chump change when it comes to volume.

(Agree with VolTiger, reflecting the noise back in at Wa. is kinda cheating (or good design ??).)

I went to the UDub-CU game at Husky Stadium in 1999 and it was pretty loud. Nothing like Tiger Stadium for a big game, though.

If LSU didnt hit it when the USC loss was announced in 2007 we never will.

True. 6dB is twice the sound pressure, or SPL.

But, 10 dB is generally accepted as "double the loudness" or twice as loud.

Perceived loudness depends on a lot of things.
I wish we knew when we hit 130dB in Tiger Stadium.
