Terrebonne and the state have permitted, procured real estate, and built to get to the states 20% match for MtG.
They arranged it that way to remove all excuses for the corps to refuse to fund.

they also arranged it to where now every camp south of the levees floods with a slight south wind.
As we speak, our camp in Dulac has 3" of water over the property. this never happened before the levees.
Plus, those frickers on the levee board can't wait to close flood gates at the drop of a hat, causing additional flooding for anyone unlucky enough to own below it. They almost closed it yesterday.
ETA: why does the HNC need to be deepened? What effect will that have on Terrebone Bay and Lake Pelto?
