this especially applies to understanding what wealth is
i suppose when you're completely ignorant to anything other than being a drone and a wage slave, it's the only way they see things
we can even sprinkle in ignorance of capitalism with alleged racism to play NPC bingo!
or hell, ask what they understand about socialism for that matter
or hell, ask them to even get their ideologies straight

What’s especially traumatic for these people is that when they eventually get the state run, sorry, “worker owned” systems that they say they want, it works out even worse for them. In totalitarian societies, malcontents like these are either jailed, killed, or enslaved.

I’d really like to hear an explanation of how a worker owned commune starts an airline, a shipping company, a petrochemical refinery, or a steel fabricator.
Side note: both of the above ARE types of socialism. What current affairs is trying to describe as the only form of socialism is actually syndicalism, which is on the anarchist side of the socialism spectrum, and an especially looneytunes version I might add.

It’s kind of like a kid who sucks at kickball hates kickball. Everyone knows he doesn’t really hate kickball, he hates that he sux at it. And he envy’s little Timmy who’s always picked first and gets to be the pitcher. He knows he can never be Timmy. So he loves when the teacher picks teams (so he’s not picked last) and requires the good players to let him pitch

My liberal friends (I have 2) are honest supporters of poor folks. My argument to them is simple. You can't have success without allowing failure. And the best way to support poor folks is through charity. Even the most poorly run charity is more efficient than a government program. Not to mention that government subsidizing failure is just plain immoral. All it does is breed more of it.
