No one using irrational fear on the democrat side.

I said it in my post. Dems abuse the Nazi thing. Republicans do fear the best though. Have my entire life.

Education and health care are not two of those things. How do you argue your assertion that they are?

Oh the children! Won't anyone just think of the children!

Statements like that have no place in intellegent discussions.

Of course innocent under privileged children deserve treatment. Comparing a child to a full grown mature adult is asinine.

This is a classic progressive tactic that I hate.

Please do not insinuate that because I don't believe in unlimited universal college education for everyone that I am against improving elementary education for the inner city.

Please do not insinuate that because I have absolutely no sympathy or empathy for a grown adult choosing to waste his life and end it early that I also have no sympathy for innocent children who didn't choose their circumstances.

Those are ignorant at best and maliciously deceitful at worst assumptions and accusations and I think you know that.

We obviously have differing views and I am more than happy to discuss those and see if we can't find understanding or common ground. Leave the nonsense and diversion at the door.

There was no party of slavery. Prior to the war there was minimal concern for slaves from Republicans. Some even owned slaves via family ties or directly.

And the Democratic party was the party of conservative SOUTHERNERS. They had the most to lose, not because they owned slaves directly. It was because their economy depended on slavery. The lost of wealth from losing slavery and war damage led to anti reconciliation.

Democrats pre 1970 (read Southerners) were not the only practitioners of Jim Crow. It happened in Republican states as well.

The hatred and racism leading to the death of those Figures is beyond political ideaology. It is a dark vein of intolerance and contempt.

Automation and corporate decisions did more to unions than any political party could ever imagine.

No one likes to talk about the tech boom and surplus under Clinton. I wonder why.

That post is full of so much misinformation and an ignorant understanding of history.

Did you go to government funded and run public schools growing up and then a government funded and protected minority college that failed you?

I went to a publicly funded K12 just like most other Americans.

And I went to 2 public Universities.

I'm doing well for myself. I'm also a history buff.

Louisiana for instance, break it down parish by parish and zoom in on actual neighborhoods and you'll see that the poorest areas ACTUALLY vote democrat.

It's still a REPUBLICAN RAN STATE. The only reason we have a Dem governor is due to a personal flip. It very likely won't happen again.

If Republicans control the state, everyone should be fine.

And go to the wealthiest areas and those areas are run by republicans and republicans live there.

You're looking at the legislature. The legislators in Baton Rouge don't control what the DEMOCRAT mayor and city council in Monroe do.

La historically has been a Democrat State and has a Democrat governor.

The largest cities are run by Democrats. If you want to find the shitholes in La, look at those cities and you'll find them.

It amazing how much you talk out of both sides of your mouth.

Income disparity proves how much Republicans hate the poor except when it occurs at higher rates in Democrat states, then it’s a product of a great economy.

Your commentary would be completely hysterical if it wasn’t sadly echoed by such a high percentage of ignorant voters.

Bruh, the Republican Party was LITERALLY founded by a coalition of abolistionist groups. They sole reason for its creation was to prohibit slavery.

In my town, cops make over 100k easily with the sweetest pension ever. Everyone gets paid more. Good luck finding a house for under 750k. It’s all relative.

How many times in the last ten years have the GOP declared that people would die as the result of a DNC policy?

I have major issues with the GOP but the DNC is one of the most immoral organizations on the planet.

As someone that works with NASA routinely (and for the record, I have no bad blood towards them) you have no idea what you are talking about when you say they aren’t inefficient. The words “analysis paralysis” are real and SLS is way way behind schedule. All the meaningful work goes to private contractors anyway, with NASA just managing them.

ULA, Blue Origin, and SpaceX are all way more efficient programs.

Baton Rouge and New Orleans:

Majority black population
Black and democratic city councils and mayors
Black school boards

At least Baton Rouge and New Orleans have the businesses that hire people. That benefits the Democrats and GOP who live there.

How are these other Red parishes hiring more than Baton Rouge and NO. The only other places in can see may be Lafayette and Monroe.

Where is this economic engine in LA, I really would like to know.

So would everyone else.

Look, I'll be perfectly honest. Louisiana is an inefficient state on many levels. Trying to pin its shortcomings on this party or that party, or this legislature or that legislature, or this governor or that governor, is a futile exercise. We have a political culture and a social culture problem that far exceeds the faults of any one stretch of political activity.

I don't know if you are joking or not but ever since 9/11 there was a solid 8 years where all the political ads we're showing wolves and coming for your children and for people in the heart of America because Democrats weren't going to stop them. I've seen ads where our soldiers in Iraq were going to die because the Democrats didn't want to give us the military enough money. I've seen it plenty of times. Hell, they even used that strategy in the 80s under Reagan. Only Reagan and stand up to the Russians and Dems might cost you your life and Liberty.

I seen it plenty
