At the start of the season:
6-6 or 7-5
OL is terrible
RBs are a huge question mark
WRs talented but unproven
Who knows what Burrow will be
Slinger hasn’t been full time OC in 20 years
Will we ever throw a pass to a TE
OMG Canada beat Texas
Here we are at 7-1 heading into the Bama game.
The offense has done what it has needed to do for us to win. As expected we have relied on the D and special teams to put the offense in position to win.
Can we beat Bama with this offense? Probably not but no one is beating them.
A 2 loss season with a bowl win and most players on offense coming back next year? You’d have taken that all day in the spring.

Hey bud. We looking pretty good. I think coaches coached a smart game last night. Defense made adjustment to stop that big arse QB from running middle and on Offense sometime you need to be conservative. With that offense State was running that final was like 60-0. With good weather I think we big even bigger. What you say?

Personally I think our WR corps needs better talent as well as talent development. Two freshmen will be fine, the big guys are not quick, Dillon has unreliable hands and Giles is MIA. He's not even a good punt returner. Plus, one tight end that contributes.

I think regardless of the weather that State wasn't scoring double digits on LSU and the LSU coaching staff wasn't going take any chances of turning the ball over in FG range. I didn't have a problem with it for this game.

Giles really disappointing so far. At TT he was killing it. Maybe he will have a light bulb moment.He can’t see the field here

Orgeron has talked about getting it fixed all season. It seems that we are content to get conservative and rely on Tracy for points. If what you are doing isn't working then you scheme something else. I have seen no evidence of any schematic changes in the red zone.
FG's won't beat Bama and will make the task more difficult vs aTm.
