Do Democrats Have Solutions?

The answer seems to be overwhelmingly no, which is why I just don't see how they can win elections or sustain any power they may gain.
People with problems want solutions to improve their lives. Pointing and yelling "F Trump and everything he stands for" solves absolutely nothing. Any issues anyone has the day before he leaves office will still be there the day after.
This strategy of obstruction is clearly backfiring, but instead of explaining how their policies are better than the GOP, they seem to just double down on the yelling and screaming.
It makes no sense.

I think you are right, especially with issues like the border where Dems don't really have a plan. That said, you do realize that Republicans basically played the obstruction card for 8 years? They wanted to block/destroy Obamacare, but nobody really came up with any solutions to our healthcare problems.
If Democrats flip things in November, we'll start hearing about the deficit again.

They are run by emotion, not reason, and so are a majority of their voters.
They don't have to have actual solutions so long as they make their voters feel loved and appreciated and listened to. It's like listening to a woman vent her problems. It's not about finding solutions so long as she gets to express how she feels to someone who makes her feel valued and heard.

Eh I don't know if I would call that obstruction in the same sense as what is happening today. Say what you will about the Tea Party and the like, but they did have a platform based on something other than "get rid of Obama."
Opposition parties will, by nature of what they are, attempt to vote down policies in which they disagree. However, that should be, and typically has been, based upon a different method for solving the problem and reasons why the policies of the majority party will not work.
Democrats in 2018, as you mentioned, are offering no alternative solutions to issues like the border. They're just saying that what Trump is doing is evil, while ignoring a very real problem that Democratic leadership for decades has acknowledged is a problem.

Their only solution is impeachment. Democrats are like the kid who flips the Monopoly board when they are losing. Instead of learning how to play the game the right way, they just want to ruin it for everyone.

The solution to all problems on the planet lies in global govt. Dems in power continue the trend in that direction. GOP in power stops it. It's that simple.

A major problem with this country is expecting someone else to fix a problem. A lot of people would be better off if they looked in the mirror before the government. A lottery winner will go broke if they do not know how to manage money. We could have the perfect education system but a child will still suffer if they have a crappy home. Real change starts from within. Poor people seem to always have tattoos, cigarettes, booze, drugs, cable tv, etc. Their lives would be much better if they made better financial decisions. That goes into another conversation but my point remains the same.

That's because they are, and have been for quite some time (although only recently have been more honest about it), the Communist movement in the U.S. Communism is their philosophy, their solution, their cause, and government is their god. Why? Because in their vision, THEY are the government and THEY get to be God.

Democrats generally support regulated capitalism (at the moderate end) or democratic socialism (at the fringe, e.g. Ocasio-Cortez).
