It doesn't necessarily need to be a whole crap load of money either. Just give them good living expenses so they can enjoy college without having to worry about the small things. It will likely come to that anyway. We'll just be ahead of the game.

Then maybe every once in a while you spend more on certain guys. LSUs allotted money isn't near what it is at our competitors schools. Raise it up when it's competitive and then take care of them on the side. Don't actually give them the money, show it to them and tell them it's yours once you sign then stick to your word. If they want it up front then give it to them. You could just tell most that when they need some to come get it instead of having all that temptation.

If you fools think Orgeron isn’t a shady recruiter you don’t know him. Once we start winning more they will come. Book it

LSU will always get good DB's. Not state in the country puts them out like La. What LSU needs is solid Olinemen and Dlinemen. Right now, I feel very good about the Oline commits LSU has, wouldn't mind another top talent, but feel very good about the ones we have. Losing a CB commit won't hurt LSU, thee's plenty of good ones in the state LSU an replace him with the drop of a hat. Really need some more beef. Oline, Dline, we need the beef to compete with the best teams in the nation.

Bama offering $$$$ isn't new or surprising. Its part of the reason why they've always been as good as they are.

Their fans actually thinking they don't is what makes it so funny.

Took zero CBs last season?

2 possibly going pro early next season?

Currently have 4 committed, but one is a MLB draft risk.

Is this correct?

I feel like cb depth is always important, but I get the lines are as well.

The timing of it is super suspect. Everybody talking about LSU DBs right now. Both Delpit and Greedy voted 1st team mid season All-Americans and Kristian Fulton just graded out at an elite level vs UGA. Even the top 2 Corners for 2020 are rocking LSU gear.

What an idiot... I will never understand how the NCAA can't see something real shady is going on over there at Bama???

Everyone on this board that just assumes we lost a player because of money needs to quit being naive sissies. Like it or not we are just as dirty as anyone in the country. Don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house. For the record I was told our communication has slowed down with this prospect. There is a kid at Daphne High in Alabama that the communication line is wide open and he was at the game Saturday. Take it for what it’s worth.

I’ll tell you another DB we are pursuing more than anyone knows is this kid named DJ Graham at Keller Central right outside of Dallas. My nephew plays ball with him and our coaches talk to him pretty much daily. When all of these summer camps run their course DJ will be one of the most sought out defensive backs in the class of 2020 and it’s down to us and OU. DJ already took a trip to Bana earlier this season and they are 100% not in play for his services.

Bingo. I don’t care what 247 says on that hard commit to Alabama. I live in Daphne, my son plays football with Christian, and we are making serious progress is all I’m going to say.

Everything. We are on athletes that most of you don’t know about and the sky is not falling because some kid from Houston decides to open his recruiting back up.

A 2020 guy who nobody is talking about has nothing to do with a 2019 commit that decommitted. Will the 2020 guy be on the team next year? No.
