Will Wade and the Addidas basketball trial

According to Dan Wetzel there is tape, that was not admited into evidence, of Will Wade discussing a 2019 recruit with a defendant named Christian Dawkins. Wade tells Dawkins he can “get you what you need.” Wetzel says he means money for the recruit (Balsa Koprivica). But Wetzel also admits that because the tape was not admitted into evidence he has little context.

Look I love Will Wade and LSU basketball but you have to be dirty to be competitive.

Basketball recruiting is filthy. I wouldn't doubt wade or any coach fudged a bit to get a recruit. Nature of the business
