Calm down your melt. This is nothing.

Surely your joking. There is no context and wasn’t even deemed credible enough to be entered as evidence. If this is it, we are fine.
He was joking.

unless it's a story about someone enrolled at LSU, it isn't an issue i would suppose
Posted on 10/16/18 at 8:28 pm to Rtowntiger
Yea I'm joking. apparently several posters missed the part where it was determined that the entire conversation lacked context and detail. It was an attorney speculating about what was being said. It makes a juicy story and gets lots of clicks but nothing more.

There are people lobbying for Eaux to get extended now so I wouldn't be surprised lmao. Sounds about right.

Plus the story conveniently drops the day before SEC media day.

Every program cheats
Except Wade didn't say shite and the ESPN headline is misleading and intellectually dishonest.

They don't have shite.
Plus if they did wouldn't care I am ridin with Wade
Why wouldn't you cheat if LSU nothing to lose

The actual transcripts are FBI evidence and will never be released to private individuals or organizations like the NCAA.
The little bit that was released is meaningless. Also, talking about cheating is not cheating. They have to actually catch you cheating. The kid in question is likely not going to any college and won’t receive money from anyone.

quote:...I had a buddy who played 2 years as the starting point guard for Washington university.... he told me himself never bet on NCAA basketball then proceeded to tell me how things were done ... we took him to an LSU game back when Shaq was playing... they were playing ole miss that nite and had a bad team... LSU was favored by 28pts.... he told me LSU will win by 30... they won by 31 that nite.... this shite goes on at just about every university dealing with big name college players... and yes, his coach knew what was going on... he was in on it also...

I don't know if the favorite covering the spread against a bad team proves a point about cheating. Also it seems like both of you should have bet on the game.

Look I love Will Wade and LSU basketball but you have to be dirty to be competitive.
I’m fine with ya being dirty because I want to win and it’s the NCAA’s fault everything is fricked. Not Will Wade or LSU’s.
Are we dirty? Absolutely. Look at our class last year.
Do I blame Will Wade? Hell no. I’m all for it.
In this era, it’s a must .... not an option.
And not just basketball. We need to up our 'game' in several sports, including football

I'm just going to reference the quotes in the article below the Wade article.
Duke and UNC started all this back in the 80's and these two were the frontrunners. K paid and set up Duhon's family years ago. The whole gist of the article is about Williamson but Duke comes out squeaky clean? Amazing the player mentioned hasn't even signed anywhere and was likely never coming to LSU.
"I really haven't followed it that much," Krzyzewski said about the trial during his team's media day press conference on Monday. "I think it's minute, it's a blip. It's not what's happening. ... We haven't lost guys because someone cheated. I haven't paid attention to it because I haven't been affected by it."
North Carolina's Roy Williams said last week he'd never been asked to pay a recruit and added that he's "not familiar with" the devious underworld of college basketball portrayed at the trial.
Krzyzewski said he "understands" Williams. He also said he's more concerned with grad transfers than cheaters.

It’s an audio recording. Whether it’s admitted into evidence is beyond the point. It’s out there.
And it's about a player that has all but eliminated LSU, so nothing happened other than the conversation sans specifics.
