Scuba, that was a long ball game...

Was expecting more fans, guess with it the day after that huge victory may have altered numbers.

It was good to see the young arms, Landon was impressive in his appearance. Would have liked to see more solid contact from our bats, we sure gave up a lot of easy outs.

I know, It’s fall scrimmage...

It was great to get back to the Box!!!

The crowd would have been smaller if not for the Coach's Committee meeting prior. The reason we didn't score more runs was we didn't bunch our hits often enough, and when we did, the 20 pitch count ended the inning. We didn't throw any of our returning pitchers, only newcomers. I don't think winning was the primary objective today.

So did any of the pitchers we are planning on using for season, give up some of the 8 runs?

i was actually surprised at the amount of people there. Wasn't really sure what to expect since was a first.

New scoreboard is sweet. the whole bag checking thing for an exhibition game seemed unnecessary but, oh well..

Every pitcher that threw against UNO is someone we expect to use this upcoming season.

Thought we had some walkons in there?

How many pitchers do we expect to use this season?

If we only gave up 5 ER, who made all the errors?

That's your fault.

They said about 2500. It looked more like 1500.

Biggest takeaway of the day.

Broussard had one error and Doughty had one error. Noted by the "E" at the end of their stat line in the OP.

Nice box score, thanks.
And good on UNO for making it a ball game, too.
It's never a bad thing when the Tigers, the Bucs and the Greenies are all good.

Was it streaming? I have Fire TV and couldn't find it on any of the ESPN offerings.

No, it wasn't available on TV anywhere. The only fall baseball game I've seen available on TV was Texas vs McClennan JC. I watched a little of it last night. I was surprised they aired it, but I'm glad they did. Hopefully if this catches on we will see the games streamed on WatchESPN next year.
