Gary completely mischaracterized Georgia's possession that resulted in the fake field goal. They hit a couple draws and a few runs out of passing formations, but Gary was talking about Georgia dominating the line of scrimmage. They hit us with some sucker runs on that drive. It wasnt like they lined up in the I and mauled us like Gary was indicating.

Honestly I actually agreed with him there. During that drive I thought we would be in for a long game.

Gary never indicated they lined up in the “I”. He did indicate that they were mauling us, and they were.
When a team lines up in a passing formation it forces the defense to put fewer men in the box. Insted of 7 blocking 8 you might have 5 blocking 6. Those six still have to stop the run.

I would not want a commentator job. We can be very sensitive to everything they say and there isn't one out there that hasn't been bashed for it.

The momentum killing timeouts in the stadium is a major reason people leave early imo. Bitching about selling tickets is also related to the length of games now stretching to 4.5 hours. The standard used to be 3 hours so now you have 1.5 hours more of Manning being forced to talk like a mentally challenged 5 year old and "no I'm his agent arch nemesis" baloney. The fans are standing around looking at each other listening to the god awful piped in garbage while that's happening. So they get a big price from Ga fans and go sit outside at their tailgate w sat tv and watch the game where they have a relatively. Lean portopotty great food and liquor.
Went to 5 home games a year forever w my friends but interest started to wane after Les' crap got more and more ridiculous and the games dragged out and the get home eta got later and later. Now one of my friends grills huge meals and dvr's the game and we eat and the he starts it up close to actual halftime and we fast forward through most of the commercials and catch up to live mid q4 and everyone is fine w that.
Btw is it my imagination or does the second half of the game get extra commercials, seems to drag on forever.
Also Danielson is horrible but he doesn't hate LSU. I think what it is is that the announcers always have a natural bias to conventional wisdom. In this case the prevailing wisdom is Kirby is a genius, Ga is program on rebound and O is a moron and LSU really sucks but is getting lucky a lot. When that doesn't pan out on the field they get little lost because their preparation and notes and little witticisms they've prepared don't work and they have to freestyle which they're not good at.

15 fricking minutes of him wringing his hands on every replay review, trying to discern where the ball is but looking at the wrong camera angle, through a pile of bodies, and then looking frame by frame and then my favorite it when they play it in reverse. When it is a clear call when you watch the play in regular or 3/4 time on one view. He's terrible. His accent is icing on the shite cake.

Dude is absolutely losing it. He’s going senile. Multiple times yesterday the action was clearly too fast for him to follow, so he just started making things up about what just happened. It was prettt sad actually.

Damned we have some real "victims" for LSU fans. Everything pisses them off. The crowd size, the crowd leaving early, the play calling, the soft defense, the price of concessions, the piped in music, the band playing Neck, the band not playing Neck, the announcers, CBS, the commercials. Jesus.
