You are 100% correct. Danielson is really good. People here think he’s supposed to announce like Chris Blair and be a homer for LSU. Danielson is paid to call it like he sees it and sometimes that isn’t favorable to LSU. I love LSU. I’m an alum and I honestly didn’t think we’d win that game beforehand. I happy as shite that we did and I always pull for my Tigers. But it doesn’t mean they are above criticism.

Gary annoys me whether LSU Is playing in a game he calls or not. It’s the smugness, not that he doesn’t know the game or that he has a bias.
But yesterday I watched the game in a NC sports bar with no sound and it was glorious not having to listen to Gary.

I didn’t say one thing about him criticizing LSU. Like I said, I don’t think he hates LSU or has any bias towards any team. I just hate how he does his job. Example: his comments about Jontre Kirklin when Nessler was talking about his position in high school.

I am so glad I don't have a opinion today - Because I MUTE the TV sound and listen to the Tiger broadcast. I know some fans are at bars or in public are forced to listen to Danielson- ya'll have my sympathy!

Was unbearable yesterday. At one point there were three commercial breaks when only 15 seconds ran off the play clock. At the stadium it seems like hours going by.

I just mute the sound now on all lsu games. I find I enjoy them more that way.

I'm usually ok with Gary. But there are moments when bias shine through on his part. There were obvious moments yesterday where he was vocally and visibly upset that Georgia was getting beat.
I can understand that it's just human nature to have or develop some leveof favoritism after being at the job so long... Herbstriet tends to show a strong bias when he's calling an OhSt or Oklahoma game, but even then he's a little more objective. Gary, yesterday, was obviously quite butt hurt that Georgia was getting their arses beat.

It’s not so much outright hate for LSU,but the dissapoint in his voice when talking about the penalty that LSU got away with or the big play that UGA almost executed that shoulda/woulda/coulda been the difference in the game.

I’m sure every fan base hates GD. Watch the CBS game when it’s not your team and you’ll realize he is really good at what he does.

My bro what at a hotel bar on a Thu (can’t remember which SEC city) but GD was at the hotel bar w/ Verne. Well GD was sitting at the bar watching the Thur game giving commentary the whole time basically practicing. Verne was cutting up having cocktails with the patrons.

Gary is bad all the time. If you can force yourself to watch a CBS game we're aren't playing it is the same! Turable!!
