No, not anymore. Gary is getting senile. He cannot call the games with any accuracy anymore because he cannot keep names straight, what team they play for, what just happened, etc. He IS a biased SOB.

He used to be good and still knows his shite but his bias and drinking have taken its toll. He is kiss up kick down pawn now. He is very careful not to upset any of the powers. He obviously doesn’t give a shite about LSU as he knows our AD is joke and would not do anything if took a crap on the 50 yard line

I cant stand him. Felt that way for years. Different reason though.
It is blaringly obvious that he is consistently so down on LSU. I don't understand why, but dam it frustrates me. When watching, I'm constantly yelling at the tv! (I know...like that will change anything! lol)

Go back and watch Eric Reid make his INT in the Bama 2011 Game of the Century.... Gary and Vern think the Alabama TE has the ball and say “Alabama’s got it!” with excitement .. Eric Reid comes up with it and they say “ OH NO!” like someone just kicked their dog.

Please watch this video and tell me what you think about Gary’s tone and attitude. Any college football fan can tell you he missed the lead story here, that the #13 team knocked off the #2 team. He genuinely sounds sad that Georgia lost, and more importantly, got embarrassed.

Imagine Alabama’s tight end catches the ball 3 yards short of a first and fights through a couple tackles to make it. He would orgasm on the spot. When Moreau did it “ crickets” except to say “ Kirby thought he was in the right defense”.
