Hawthorne on the call

Matt Mauck, getting hit at the waist, as he threw it up for Skyler Green.

What a moment in Tiger Stadium History.

Would be nice to recreate that atomshphere, this Saturday.

I was in the south endzone lower bowl and I guess since it happened right in front of us, I always think of Shockley getting sacked by the goal line while waving the ball all over the place. I thought for sure he was gonna fumble.

When Skyler caught the ball, we couldn't see it and just went off the crowd reaction. There was a UGA fan sitting next to us that was pissed they didn't call holding on the Henderson return.

Eta: I tried blowing that pic up to find myself in it. If you follow the numbers to the south endzone, I'm right there in the lower bowl. Too blurry damnit.

Look at how packed the stands are late in the 4th.

I was in the North endzone. One of the greatest plays I’ve ever seen live.

That was back when LSU gave the visitors a giant block of seats in the lower bowl. It was amazing how loud the Georgia fans were after the long TD pass to tie it.

I recently rewatched the game on YouTube. What a slug fest. Georgia dominated the 1st half but couldn’t finish drives. LSU had one drive and went to the half up 7-3. LSU dominated the 2nd half but couldn’t pull away any.

LSU may have won the SEC in 2001 but 2002 took some of the wind out of the sail. This game told everyone LSU had arrived.

Im in that pic. Upper south ez. Left side of pic. Hands the best moment ive ever had in DV. The uga kick to us before that drive had to come out of a tv timeout. Late in the 4th of a game we were down in..the student section began chanting L-S-U. L-S-U. it spread through stadium and players fed off jt..the kick to us we got a GREAT runeback by skylar or sharone carey..cant member the returner..but it got us great field position and setup that bomb to skylar.

When we scored the stadium erupted..like 07 lsu v uf after usc loss anniuncement erupted.

Looked at my brother a d was yelling as loud as u could and couldn't hear myself.. a try amazing game and experience from a crowd that was hungry for victory and full of love for their tigers.

Didnt realize the WR depth that year. Michael Clayton, Skyler Green, Dwayne Bowe, Buster Davis, and Devery Henderson

I was at the 5 yard line west side. Probably my favorite moment in all the games I went to.

I was 9 years old sitting in our same seats that we sit in today. I'll never forget the 95 yard screen play down the UGA sideline as they tied it up. That game was an absolute war and to see our Tigers come out on top was something I'll never forget. This Saturday is gonna be somwthing special, and I really hope our fans get behind these players to get us the W.
