I believe that if we want to have a good chance to win this game, getting to the QB will be absolutely essential. We didn’t even come close to touching Franks at all and Florida’s O-line is nothing special. How can we do a better job of getting to the QB schematically? If we don’t, a good QB like Fromm will absolutely have a field day against us regardless of how great our secondary is.

Edit: the answers are not promising. Basically it boils down to blitzing on of our best defensive backs? We’re toast, lol

If they bring Delpit all day..... The secondary will get torched.

Our D-Line is weak, period. They are not good enough to pressure the QB with 3 when facing an adequate O-Line.

And The staff should plaster the above all over the fricking locker room to see if they have the grit to get their shite in a pile and bring it like a fricking hammer.

Get Chaisson on one side and Key on the other.

After yesterday, I don't know. In looking ahead to Georgia, I had been thinking if you can limit their running game (no Chubb or Michele this year) and make Fromm challenge you through the air, that might be the way to beat them.

I still think that's the way to do it but I'm not sure LSU can execute that plan. They weren't able to stop the ground game yesterday, but getting Phillips back should help. Even if we are able to shut down the running game, the lack of a pass rush is still an issue. You can't let Fromm sit in the pocket and pick you apart. Losing Chaisson has been brutal. We haven't found anyone whos been able to fill his shoes.

Aranda is going to have to get creative this week. We weren't able to disrupt many plays against Florida. And You can bet UGA is drawing up some option plays with Justin Fields. I trust Aranda to make some corrections and be ready this weekend though.

a TON of delayed blitzes up the middle. both of their guards are OUT and their center is questionable.

DBs will play man. Defense will have to limit penalties on long passes.

That’s all there is to it.

We had 0 sacks. Got a bunch of hurries but no pay dirt. How did Travez Moore play? Heard all week watch for him, but didnt see much from him.

I feel sorry for our secondary. Watching how long Franks had to sit in the pocket, and just wait for something to develop had me screaming at the TV all evening. 20 is not a big score to match, but damn we made Florida look a lot better than they are.

The team that played Florida will get 35 hung on them by Georgia.
