UF’s stout d-line was going to be a big problem for our ajar offensive line and going into a very a hostile environment as only a 1pt favorite I admitttedly was nervous about it. Their secondary is pretty solid and when we kept the pressure of Joe he did a fine job at making his throws.

On the other hand, Georgia has the lowest sack rate in the SEC and their pass rush has been pretty abysmal. They lost a good amount in their secondary from last year and they aren’t as good as UF’s DB’s are. If we prepare accordingly, our offensive line should give Burrow much more time to make throws against a secondary that is probably on Auburn’s level skill wise. I wouldn’t mind Burrow throwing the ball 40+ times this game. We certainly have the ability to put up 4 TD’s on them. The crowd will help our defense as well. This is probably the most hostile environment they’ve played in over a year and the best team they’ve played all year by far. I just don’t see them rolling in and dropping like 35 on us like all of y’all are predicting. There are big holes in their defense and we can put up some points.
That was the most embarrassing moment I’ve ever had as a Saints fan. We had an absolute mosh pit at the 40 yard line for 7 minutes and the next drive we fumble and are only up 13. Get y’alls head in the game. Good grief. Hey at least at halftime Brees will have enough time to pick out the next Bass Nectar playlist for the next mosh pit.

Who honestly gives a shite about that guy right now. We’re out here grinding for our lives against UGA, Florida, Bama and y’all are talking about the guy who couldn’t get a first down against Wisconsin? God help us.

No reason to be so pessimistic

I am often as negative as they come when it comes to LSU football, but I'm not sure what y'all expected vs Florida. We were a 1 point favorite in a very hostile SEC environment. It was the biggest game of the year for them so far and you should have known they wouldn't just be like "Oh we're rebuilding this year they can have the win this time." A 1 point favorite implies we has a 53% chance at winning according to vegas. Have you ever lost a hand of Blackjack? About the same odds as Florida winning.

So we go out, maybe make some mistakes we shouldn't have, and barely lose, and we go from "Man this is so awesome being a contender now" posts to "we're going 7-5" and "I knew we weren't that good this year" Haha, what the frick? We were a 1 point favorite. You couldn't have said that before the game? If we play that game 1000 times we probably win it 550 times. The cookie crumbled the wrong way. Yes, we have problems to fix but jesus we aren't some atrocious 7-5 football team. Good grief this place is unforgiving.
Felipe Franks looked like Brees when we gave him 7 seconds to throw every ball. Good grief. Fromm is going to rip us a new one
Discuss. Strengths, weaknesses, injuries, etc.
This is the most atrocious post I’ve ever seen on here.
Incredible how many times we contacted UF's backs 2-3 yards behind the line of scrimmage but they ended up gaining 3-4 yards. It was big thing against Auburn as well. To top that off, we barely sniffed Franks. Fromm and Holyfield are going to have an absolute field day if we can't get pressure or finish tackles.
Lol it will not take a miracle to beat Georgia. They are literally only a 7 pt favorite and have an implied probability of winning of 67%. A 33% chance of winning does not require a miracle. Calm down.
Georgia this year is light years better than that South Carolina team.

How can our defense get to Fromm?

I believe that if we want to have a good chance to win this game, getting to the QB will be absolutely essential. We didn’t even come close to touching Franks at all and Florida’s O-line is nothing special. How can we do a better job of getting to the QB schematically? If we don’t, a good QB like Fromm will absolutely have a field day against us regardless of how great our secondary is.

Edit: the answers are not promising. Basically it boils down to blitzing on of our best defensive backs? We’re toast, lol

Texas at 9, LSU at 13

I’m 100% a negatiger but this is absolute insanity. Texas has 1 loss and only one win against a top 10 team who put 45 on them. 45. Their loss is to Maryland. We have two top 10 wins and one loss to the #14 ranked team at their place. I was glad someone handed Oklahoma their loss but good grief I am not looking forward to the media suckage of Texas for the next 3 months.

But I am looking forward to when they make Texas a -6 pt favorite next year against us and I absolutely slam LSU to oblivion.
We really have settled for mediocrity haven’t we. Wow.

The typically make it Saturday night after the games have ended but yes they are waiting a while now. Maybe they are deciding not to go with us after UF loss.
Ah, yes. Nothing like playing Michigan St. in the Music City Bowl At 10am central for the 6th straight year. Gonna be a blast. Can’t wait!

This is what we get

All we’ve done for two weeks is look forward to Georgia. We overlooked Florida and everyone assumed we’d crush them. Well now you have it. We’re finally playing Georgia this week. Are you not happy?
