This is a lesson to all of you that you can only fake it for so long before you run into a real monster. McGregor is the ultimate "fake it until you make it" case; his supreme confidence gave him a leg up and psyched opponents into making foolish mistakes which built up his self-fulfilling aura of invincibility, but it was all a sham. Dude didn't even look better standing up and striking against a guy that no one rated on any level as a striker, in fact Khabib landed the biggest punch of the fight on top of completely violating him on the ground. Props to McGregor for duping the masses into millions of dollars with his fake tough-guy antics, but he just got a world class lesson in the fact that there are people out there that don't fake it: they'll literally end you for a laugh.

UFC has been tolerating conor’s BS for a while. It was “cool” when McGregor threw that dolly at the bus. But now they are “outrage”. Give me a break. Conor got what he deserved. This is the same guy who jumped the octagon to attack Jose Aldo. Karma is a funny funny thing.

He beat a bunch of manlets considerably smaller than him by employing the most extreme tactics to make weight. Go look at what he looked like in the weigh-ins for some of those fights; like he just came out of Auschwitz. When he fights guys his own size, suddenly his unprecedented power looks completely average. Average-arse Nate Diaz beat his arse once and forced a decision in the second fight, and you saw what Khabib did tonight.
Don't get me wrong, McGregor is a good fighter obviously, but his whole spectacle was mind games and mental conditioning that allowed him to play smaller opponents into his own game. Thats what I mean by "fake it until you make it". The difference is that for a guy like Khabib, he doesn't have to create a fake mirror of invincibility, and he has the size to stand there with McGregor.
GSP would have slapped McGregor around silly as well.
