Recently tried acorn squash cooked on the grill ... it has quickly become one of my favorites.

When it's fried right it doesn't seem slimy to me.

Less so, but there’s still a bit there. I just don’t like it mushy and over cooked. But I’ll eat it any way: pickled, pan fried in olive oil(my fave), fried whole or cut, boiled with tomatoes, etc.
