I keep hearing when Cap Marvel goes binary (whatever that means) she’s an unstoppable force. How does that fair against Thanos with all the stones? It just seems anything she could do would be easily countered by him (bubbles n such). Thx guys, love these discussions.

He has all the power of the universe or some shite, right? The end of Infinity War should have ended everything.

Captain Marvel's powers are superhuman strength, endurance, stamina, flight, durability, and a Spidey sense. Her binary form expanded these power exponentially; she could control heat and gravity and light and survive space and project energy in photonic form. At her most powerful, she’s basically a living nuclear weapon. Even more, her ability to travel through cosmic energies could potentially allow her to disrupt the space/time continuum and create inter-dimensional breaches.

Thanos cant use the gauntlet if she nukes him from existence before he has a chance to. Same as if Thor had just cut his arm off or buried the axe in his skull instead of going for the chest.

She would lose. The complete Infinity Gauntlet is virtually unbeatable in the comics and basically requires the user to defeat themselves in order to be beaten.

Power against power there’s almost nothing that can beat the fully powered Gauntlet. Only a few supreme beings and cosmic entities of the universe (who have not appeared in the MCU) are strong enough to stand a chance. Galactus, Beyonder, and the Phoenix are among them. Even they might not be enough.

It will take Thanos making a mistake to beat him and the heroes capitalizing...like when Thor had a chance but didn’t go for the head or cut his arm off.

Binary Cap Marvel is basically Superman. Is she stronger than IG Thanos? No. We basically saw Rune King Thor in A3 and he still wasn't able to defeat IG Thanos.

I’m guessing she’s powerful as shite, a little stronger than Thor. I get the sense that Thor and Marvel would be able to hold their own against Thanos but not able to overcome him with a fully powered gauntlet

As much as I like Infinity War they really did downplay what the wielder of The Gauntlet is capable of.

I will chum some of this up to the fact that Thanos does have an inherent desire to lose so this would explain why any group of superheroes would be able to fight him at all. Do not think for a second that our heroes on Titan had Thanos where they wanted him, that fight lasted as long as Thanos would allow it.

You don't have to do anything physical or recite any type of magical incantation, Thanos could simply will her out of existence with a mere thought.
