Pleased with the win. A lot needs to be improved. Coaches reviewed film last night.

Traore and Chasen Hines looked good. RB's had a lot of yards behind those guys.

Jeaux did good, no interceptions. Foster Moreau had his best game as a Tiger.

Jacob Phillips led the team in tackles.

Ole Miss scores 42 points a game and over 500 yards of offense. Names a bunch of Ole Miss players says LSU defense will have its work cut out.

Garret Brumfield is out. Magee is questionable.

LSU worst against Tech was pass rush. Eaux says it his fault and intends to get it corrected.

Ole Miss has very good receivers. Will have to mix things up to cover them and have a better pass rush.

Hines has been a plus. Will probably start this week. He will be challenged this week. Saahdiq Charles is questionable. Hopefully he'll be available to play Ole Miss.

Defense needs to do some alignments better.

It is a mindset that is responsible for the turnover margin. They practiced new guys against veterans in ball protection.

Dave is very quiet but Eaux could tell by his demeanor that the performance Saturday bothered him.

The big men need to do better at rushing the QB and getting pressure on him.

Doesn't have anything personal against Ole Miss. It was over 13 years ago and he moved-on a long time ago and is the head coach at LSU.

Ole Miss going to run the counter play like they did last year. They will make plays and LSU needs to battle for 60 minutes.

Talked about Billy Cannon statue being unveiled Friday. 1958 NC team being honored Saturday. Both of these are big deals on top of playing Ole Miss.

Rosenthal is not ready and Eaux would not put him in.

DB's other than Greedy. thinks they have done fairly well. Until the last game. He counted and the QB held the ball one time for 5 seconds. The Dline needs to help the DB's.

LSU practices redzone on Mondays and Thursdays. Last year it was only on Thursdays. New WR coach - Sullivan is the LSU expert on redzone.

Hasn't made any decisions on who redshirts. Can't tell now with injuries who they will need. Doesn't want to tell a player he is redshirting, player shuts it down and then an injury causes him to have to play. He'd rather all players practice like they will play every week.

Burreaux is good at reading defenses getting rid of the ball quicker.

Todd Harris is getting better. They trust him back there.

You can't play screens, you have to react to them. If you play them you will never get any kind of pass rush.

La Tech had some good WR's. Ole miss has a very good QB and NFL quality WRs. LSU can't allow the deep ball. Ole Miss is like the old Oakland Raiders "just score baby" and they throw a lot of deep balls.

Dee Anderson came in with a lot of accolades. Frank Wilson was very high on him. Dee has done a phenomenal job. Works hard, garnered respect of his teammates and coaches. He has become a go-to WR for the team.

Didn't pay attention to the upsets this weekend. It doesn't do anything for the LSU football team. Need to stay humble and focus on the job ahead and not other teams.

Transfer QB's give you immediate help. Someone who can come in and compete to start. Jeaux was the right guy at the right moment. Likes the xfer rule when he gets good players, doesn't like it when he loses players.

Thinks LSU needs to be more explosive on offense to win the SEC. Had 10 explosive plays this weekend the most so far this season. Injuries may be holding back on play calling a little bit.

Big plays fuel emotion. Big plays fire the fans up. That's the team's responsibility to have the big plays to get the fans going.

Steve E does it all but Jerry is a big help and it is nice to have him at LSU.

LSU has strengths and weaknesses. Doesn't know if LSU has reached it full potential. He knows they need to keep working to get better.

Again Brumfield is out this weekend.

S. Charles and Adrian Magee are both questionable.

Everything is paraphrased as the show was live and went pretty fast.

The Subway Fresh take? Is there no part of athletics that the athletic department won't whore themselves out for?

LSU needs at least one of these guys to be able to go.

Why can't the defensive coordinator fix this issue?

I was finally able to upvote a post of yours. Thanks for the recap and an even larger thanks for not posting all the unnecessary O pics.

You suck and I hate you ponamsky but thanks for doing this. I don't really don't have time to go back and listen to these interviews so these little summaries are appreciated.

It kind of pisses me off that he harped so much on the defense, as if they didn't do enough, when it's obvious that it's been the offense thats been lacking all year, outside of a few quarters here and there. It kind of scares me too because it makes me think he's going to lean on the defense all year and play ball protection Miles-style offense.

- When will the backup DL get meaningful reps? Its only been 4 games and I can count those people on 1 hand. Need them to get ready for later in the season in these big SEC games where a rotation will be needed.

- Did you get a copy of the Saints/ Chargers playbook when they visited? We need to develop and open it up so we will be ready to throw the ball when asked.

- Why is the #7 given away? Needs to stay with proven playmakers... could have chosen White, Delpit, or Lawrence before the season and it would have been solid. This may seem minor, but the act of given it away files in the face of PT earned, etc.

Pass along my remarks.

We're 96th in the country and 13th/14 in the SEC in red zone TD%.

That "expert" needs to step up his fricking game.

excellent. thank you.

Sad to hear about Brumfield. Get healed up, get healed up good... see you soon Bruiser!

Glad they recognize there is room for improvement (which we all see). Stay hungry, look to excel... good enough is never good enough.

ETA: Just saw "negative MRI"

So he just got twisted up? No sprain or anything?
