If this nomination is pulled or voted down then Republicans would never be able to get a Supreme Court nomination through the Judiciary Committee if this tactic of allegations which require the nominee to disprove, rather than the accuser to prove, prevails.

The committee must look at Kavanaugh's judicial body of work and his personal life over the last 35 years of his life and vote to approve his nomination, otherwise the Democrats will oppose anyone nominated in the future even if that person has lived a perfect life. And we know that such a person does not exist.

An unconscionable mistake.

We don’t have to participate in the delusions of our modern Tumblr society.

This is the hill to die on. This is the future of the country. This is everything. If these people are successful in blocking Kavananaugh, we're finished.

If they give in to the forces of Godlessness it will not be a Christian bail

If the R's cave on this, expect plenty of people on the right to stay home in Nov.

People are tired of the R's acting like pussies

What we fail to realize is the chilling effect on potential conservative nominees in the future. Who would be willing to put their reputation and their family through this?

The Democrats will continue to use this play until it no longer works.

They got away with it for Roy Moore.
They'll just keep using it.
I mean, why wouldn't they?
What's the consequence of using it?
Nothing.

It would be a fatal mistake. This sham allegation needs to be made an example of when Kavanaugh is confirmed and people held accountable.

There is a reason that the approval ratings for Congress have been in the single digits for years. Even the Hilldawg can get double-digit approval ratings. Never mind that her supporters appear to have single-digit IQs. When was the last time Congress took a bold stance and did the right thing? I don't think voting for tax cuts was all that bold.
