Seeing this crap about the Supreme Court appointment being raked through the coals over some allegation made by a woman regarding a high school party is downright ridiculous.

He’s not even running for office and he’s getting this hate from what seems to be a baseless accusation.

Would you ever run for office given that something you did in high school would come up during an election?

No. Why go under the microscope for barely 6 figures. It's a waste of a college degree. Now if I only had a GED. Then

Not when you set up a "charity", get hundreds of millions donated then do NOTHING for charity.

Like that matters. If you stand in their way they’ll just make shite up

Probably not. I touched a girl on the shoulder once and I’m a Republican. I’d be accused as a rapist and one of the most evil human beings to ever exist

Not no, but HELL NO. I have family in politics, but my personality is not cut out for it. To do it properly, it takes a lot of your time, you have to WANT to help people and CARE for people that you really don't know. I would rather help a stray dog over a stranger.

My BIL is a lobbyist. That is about the closest I would come to public office.

It's going to be fun watching the social media generation begin running for office.

When I was younger, I did (I was 24). I have had plans to run for a certain position since before I decided to run for a city council seat. It was an open seat and decided it would be a chance for me to get the experience of running a campaign, get my name out there and hopefully allow me to get an early start to the position I one day plan on running for.

There were 5 other candidates. I was elected into a runoff and lost the runoff I hate to fricking lose.. But I learned a lot and will be useful to me one day.

I wish more people would consider running for elected office. Part of the problem, which trickles down to local positions, is that many positions have had the same person in it for years, to the point they are too comfortable.

Instead of getting shite done and fighting to improve whatever they are able to improve, they just maintain. Do the bare minimum.. Just enough to keep their constituents from complaining to them.

I past out on a couch with a girl during a high school party. I woke up and had my arm around her. Can’t run for office anymore after that kind of violent assault.

Hell no. People are cut-throat even for things like a rinky-dink town council seat. I wouldn't want to put my family through the bullshite.

If I wasn't married with kids, then it would be a possibility.
