I’ve been out of the LC food scene for a while, but is Mazens still good?

Le truffle sauvage still open? Way over 35 bucks but worth it back in the day.

Joe’s pizza in Sulphur has some legit NY style pizza.

this place closed two months ago. The ladies (sisters) that ran it decided enough was enough but from word on the street the brothers are going to reopen it.

It was still open a few days ago for lunch, FWIW. I think her brother took it over.

La Truffe Sauvage

LINK

It's a super fine dining restaurant and never understood why the guys picked Lake Charles, but the food is really incredible.

Hackett's is my favorite lunch spot in the city.

Nina P's, Cousin's, and Toga Grill are also good options. Cousin's will be over $35 with drinks though.

To whoever said Victoria's closed, it's been back open for about a month. Mostly a new crew but the food is the same. I've been for breakfast and lunch.

Mazen's- good fish/crabmeat and steaks
Luna's- casual
Seafood Palace for boiled seafood (crabs are great)
Calla-- great burger at lunch- dinner will bust the budget
Villa- good italian
1910- may bust that $35 budget
Chart House- nice view of golf course- good food.
