I'll rephrase. It wouldn't make much sense for USC to take him back since he's near the end of his career. USC needs a guy who will be good and be around for awhile.

It's pretty weird how Pete Carroll has turned into Les Miles in the NFL after all of those years at USC dominating with their passing game and explosive offense. Yeah, I know the NFL and college football are two different beasts but it's still strange to see a Pete Carroll offense so toothless and inept.
