I don’t check names before I click threads. I see a title, expect a substantive post, and instead get a fruity collage that looks like it was made by a 12 year old girl who just found out what college football is, then I scroll back up and see that your dumb arse posted it. Not really on me, you should stop making shitty threads

Didn't think we'd be in this position after Troy.

As bad as the Troy fiasco was, LSU wins both that game and the Notre Dame bowl game with an accurate kicker. Meaning LSU would have finished 11-2 last year.

The exact same way you've always been with positive news about Miles.

3 top ten wins (at the time of the game played) look pretty good. Most of the other wins that came against teams that were complete dumpster fires do not.

Lets see how the season plays out before we start crowning o king of all coaches. Okay ree?

He has definitely improved as a coach, but as of now, there’s not a ton of difference between this year and the Miles years. Have to win the games in November to matter. If we lose to UGA, Bama, and either/both Miss St and TAMU, this stretch will be long forgotten

At a certain point we gotta move past what he did at Ole Miss and realize that he's evolved into a damn good football coach.

A comeback win at Auburn certainly helps O's case.

I am sick & tired of all the losing to Troy, and what a horror story it was. I would like to remind all the O haters that Troy was 11-2 last year, albeit was against weaker opponents rather than against top 10 teams. I might also add that Troy this past weekend went into Nebraska, and won there. Last year in their bowl game they beat N Texas by 20 , the same N Texas that blew out Arkansas this past weekend. All I'm saying is that was loss was probably due to looking ahead, and possibly a lack of concentration rather than LSU losing to a terrible team.

I've always been in on Coach, coming from Lafourche parish, I am a homer.

I really think the only gripe anyone should have about him now is the Troy game.

That being said, getting a shite loss like that in your first full season REALLY shows the current and future players that an upset can happen and therefore, decreases the chance of it happening again.

I would say that his defense let him down in the bowl game last year, a win we should have had.

Beat Troy and Notre Dame and we finish what, maybe 12th or top 10 last season and the seat isn't hot to start this year.

yep, then IF (not saying it will happen) LSU loses 5 games this year like Culotta TBob Moscona and Rabalais all predicted O isnt feeling uncomfortable because of a double digit win total in year 1. but without that luxury O had to come out this year and prove last year was a fluke. so far, so good.

Uh this is not proven yet. It's 16 games.

Let's see where he's at @ 75-80 games.

He has everything he needs here to get it done.

Stop crowning him before he wins shite though. Damn.

this is where I am at. But I get called a "hater" if I am not heaping enough praise on O.

has it really been that long since LSU was relevant that 3-0 is this unachievable benchmark? Honestly reminded me of the aTm fans we hear from every september and october when they race out to their 5-0 start.

I don't know what the rush is to proclaim Orgeron as a great coach.

Damn, I think most critics say that this has been a great start to the season. Why is that not an adequate assessment of the state of LSU football right now?
