Question on the Williams interception

On the NOLA site there is a front page story on the "10 things learned..." (no link because the story does not have a designated url, just go to nola.com). There is a head on shot of the Williams interception and directly behind him is Crawley with, what looks like, an obvious hold of the intended receivers left arm.
The question is: was this a missed interference call on Crawley or, because of the interception, the interference issue is a non factor; something like a pass that is uncatchable?

It's hard to ascertain from a still image what the actual play was. Crawley's arm was likely coming down to bat the ball away when Williams caught it. Williams didn't interfere so they let it go.

OK, I'll buy that. Thanks, that was something I hadn't considered.

This is only proof that Crawley made contact after the interception though.

Thanks, Chad. I knew someone smarter than me would be able to bring up the picture.

You're welcome. Thanks to you, you didn't set the bar very high.

That would be the position to rake the ball out after it arrives.

As soon as William's fingertips touch the ball you can tackle the receiver so that's why it usually isn't called on interceptions if timing is close

unfortunately he didn't get enough of a pull on this one.

That's something else I didn't consider. I guess I didn't think this through. I was hung up on, what I thought to be, the missed interference call.
Thanks to everyone for their respectful replies.

The picture seems to show everything you need to know about Crawley he has absolutely no idea where the ball is that and was trying to tackle the receiver just in case he had it.

Looking at still shots without consulting the video to make determination on plays in football is about the dumbest thing you can do.

One of the perks of sitting in the terrace is on deep balls like that.
Crawley was running stride for stride with callaway and started to drift towards the middle of the field (I assume tyrod was staring down the WR in the middle). By the time he had gotten back to callaway it was too late. It was a really good throw by tyrod also, because crawley closed on it pretty good for being out of position.

"about the dumbest thing you can do."
And there you go!
I can think of about 1000 things dumber than "not consulting the video." Are you fricking serious?
Judge much?

During the game I noticed this. It looked like it was a bang bang play where crawled got turned around, knew it and was going to tackle the reciever as he caught the ball. Williams stepped in front and intercepted as this happened in background

I did it for you, Chad. A voice of reason.

That picture is obviously photoshopped. There is no way Crawley was within 5 yards of any receiver on Sunday.

if it makes you feel better, it was a tight end, not a wide receiver.
