not a bad idea to call bs on a guy who shite himself on the court, then was carted off pretending to be hurt so he could go shite, only to run back into the game minutes later.
eat shite paul.
eat shite paul.

I've always hated Paul Pierce.

He’d forfeit the Supermax by demanding a trade now. Although if the Pels don’t look like a playoff team I’d understand. If he gets traded to a contender he can make much of the difference up in endorsements.

Brown, Tatum, Rozier and three firsts and I'm in.
Otherwise, frick off.

Could you imagine the haul it would take to get AD with 3 years left on his deal?

He's nuts. He is "guaranteeing" he will not be here possibly by the AS break if we are hovering around 500. Pierce is simply trying to play to the Celtics fans.

Key words in there is "If things dont go well"
It would take us being 20-36 or something ridiculous like that for us to say ok let's blow it up.
At that point, you could probably kiss Jrue goodbye also, and just have a full on rebuild.
I will say though, the chances of all that happening, without a major injury to AD, is about .1%, and then nobody would want him with a major injury anyway

Nailed it. He is just a pussy Celtics fan at this point in his life and he's literally just hoping and praying he goes there.

There's less than 0% chance he picks up his player option in year 3

I don't know if AD getting a new agent was a power move to put the team on notice or not. But even if it wasn't if AD looks like he's playing for another irrelevant team, you know his new agency will be trying to push him out the door like CP3s people were. The difference between 5th and 11th will likely be pretty small again this season so the margin for error or bad luck is razor thin. I thought the Supermax money would be enough, but based on those endorsement numbers I posted last week playing for a true contender is worth an extra $15-$25 million a year over "just" being an MVP candidate that regularly makes the playoffs like Westbrook and Harden.

Paul Pierce needs to wash his face and go frick himself

AD seems drunk or high AF in his latest IG post. It's pretty funny. On my phone so no link.
Also, no chance he passes up the supermax.

AD should learn from CP3. Leaving New Orleans honestly never put CP3 in a better position to win a championship until he forced a 2nd trade to another team where he is clearly the 2nd or 3rd fiddle. And even that window is closed now.

Friendly reminder.
As Bobby Marks pointed in the summer: Celtics cannot have AD for a year. Unless Kyrie is here.
Both (AD and KI) rookie contracts were extended as a Designated Players. A team cannot have two of those players (contracts) at a time.
So firstly Kyrie has to be extended or traded. And then they can go after AD.
It is just theory. At least for now.

Should force a trade.
Allow us to get a wing via draft #1 overall
Come back home.
Win.
