Most want to see LSU come out slinging it but that’s not going to beat auburn. I expect to see a defensive game that may come down to field goals. I think In those two areas we are the better team.

Offensively I would expect LSU to throw a lot of short passes To prevent the pass rush from hitting burrow. If they have success it’s short passes it will force auburn to move closer to the line opening up opportunities for shots deep. Anybody expecting LSU to come out and sling it all over will be extremely disappointed. You beat auburn by having no turnovers, playing outstanding defense, and making your field goals. I expect LSU to do this and win 16-10.

Do you believe that LSU can win with 150 yards passing and 3/11 on 3rd down?

If Ranters coached LSU, we would never lose.

We need to get a few good breaks while Auburn gets equally bad ones. Like in golf, it's better to be lucky than good.

No one expects LSU to come out slinging the ball against a top 10 Auburn defense. Very few programs in the country, if any, have the ability to do that. However if all we see is run, run, pass, punt, there's going to be a lot of pissed off LSU fans.

depends how many turnovers we had. Also those numbers were pretty much from one half of football. If LSU finds success in the running game and makes 2 turnovers then sure.

I’m assuming by your post history you are the only ranter who has good football opinions right?

I agree. This game will be won by a kicker. Hopefully LSU'S kicker.

I don't expect them to come out 5 wide and running the oopty oop or anything, but there's going to be a point in the game, maybe 2 or 3, where we are going to need a crucial 3rd down conversion and we're gonna need someone to make a big play. IMO, we will need to throw for more than 200 yards to pull this one out.

I think we need to stretch the field. Unleash the horses at wide receiver and let them run. We'll need to score points through chunk plays reversing field position. I think our receivers are more talented and athletic than their DB's.

Yeah I don’t think anyone expects to see us slinging the ball all over the place, that being said if we COULD do that, I dont See how that would be a bad strategy.

We just likely can’t.

What do you mean the “only winning game plan”? This is Auburn!!! We might as well be playing against the ‘95 Dallas Cowboys! Haven’t you been reading the rant?!? Who the hell can beat such an imposing and dynamic team like Auburn!?? Certainly not little old LSU! There is no winning game plan for mighty Auburn! It’s just not possible! It’s Auburn! Auburn? We talkin bout Auburn? Auburn.

Ball control, field position, time of possession are all key.

Their D line is the only real strength in their defense. We so t be running wild on them. We have to beat them through the air.

I think we'll look to Sullivan down the field to try to pick up some chunk plays.
